Got a pro tip for taking salad greens camping.
Put in a square of paper towel before you leave and seal it back up with enough air so it wont get crushed (if its in a bag) Lasts at least 3-4× longer.

20:44 Hi Andy .....Pied oystercatchers primarily feed on bivalves and have a specially modified chisel like beak to make this possible. Crustaceans form only a very small percentage of their diet. Beach stone curlews are the bird you are thinking of for crab eating and they have a heavy bill for dealing with armoured prey.

My Japanese Fishing guide told me that squid do not like ocean water that has a freshwater source like a stream, river or underground seepage... Maybe there were no squid in this video, due to the fresh water source? Not sure? Anyway, FYI!

Shame you had to cut the trip short!!! Weathers a bit crazy lately, wet seasons come a bit late hopefully the cooler weather will be on the way soon & then we will be off on a few boating adventures. Coral trout are my favourite fish, when I visit my Aunty & Uncle in Cairns they always cook up a big feed for me 🤤 they have a huge boat and always out the reef fishing. I’ve just gotten back from hiking on Hinchinbrook Island, our trip also got cut short and we had to turn back, with my 10yr old son. He caught the biggest rock cod (was later told its a gold spot) I have ever seen on his little 3pce Ugly Stik travel rod I got him for xmas, in one of the estuary’s while we were waiting for the tide to go down so we could cross the trail. It was about 2 1/2 of my feet so atleast 60cm. He was disappointed we had to cut the trip short and turn back but catching that fish is a moment he will never forget & I got most of it on video. Such an amazing experience for him coz he loves fishing & loves your vids too. The gold & black lure did the trick once again 👏 cheers! Heather
