Right now in the shop we have 4 TB8000s. They are great. But still not enough power at 8amps. When a car comes In for service we have about 1 hour. In that hour I want to let the car go with fully charged battery. We need at least 10amps of power. 6amps is not enough.

@jlbush8249 because the batterys he might get might have bad cells . Also different AH might charge a little longer. I have the smart charger and I have no issues . It probably charges my battery from 20 percent to 80 in about 45 minutes on 6 amps . Which is fair . That's enough charge
@@smurfeco2.358 The TB8000 has a battery repair setting as well. I have never seen it take an hour to either charge, or repair the battery, unless the battery is bad.
I have the tb4000, I'm finding both tb4000/tb6000 too little amperage to do a good job, my tb4000 I've seen it fail in a battery that I had to use a conventional charger.
For your information, T4000 has 2 output current 1A and 4A, and different battery capacity requires different charging current. What type of battery do you charge using T4000? If you have any problem with your device, please contact support@topdon.com for help.
Failed or the battery was trashed? 4 to 6 amp doesn’t do a good job? Sounds like you are trying to charge a completely dead, ruined in most cases, batteries. By traditional charger you mean a dumb charger that allows one to force voltage at high amperage into a bad battery…a dangerous game indeed.

My TB8000 charges any battery I throw at it, to include neglected batteries, in minutes. Not sure why yours can’t charge a battery in an hour.
