I watched videos 1 through 5 of this series on Sunday afternoon, and it made me think so much that my brain became too warm and couldn't sleep properly. Thanks for having such excellent content!
Mandy, I have to stop and comment, you’re blowing my mind! I’ve been doing POD since Oct 2023. I’ve watched hundreds of hours of UA-cam to learn it all but it’s been a struggle to learn how to be efficient like this. Thank you so much for taking the overwhelm out of this. You’re awesome.
So thankful for you Mandy ❤ this series is literally changing my life. I’ve been doing this since last November and every single video you put out makes everything easier for me!
Mandy, I'm so happy I found you on UA-cam! I started my POD business January 1, 2024 and it can get so overwhelming and discouraging with the vast sea of information out there on the interwebs. I finished your Time Blocking Series and it was SO incredibly helpful! I feel armed with the information and strategy I need to organize my work and get closer to making sales (still waiting for my first cha-ching!). I have my notes from the course and I'm off to the races! You Rock and I can't wait to tune in to additional sessions.
I just love these series and I found you at a great time since I'm a new seller! I needed to hear "Progress over Perfection" and wrote it down so it's right in front of me so I don't get discouraged when I have hiccups along the way. You are the only one out of all the UA-camrs that has explained how to link the colors to the shirt. I have 50 listings already and none of them are linked. Glad you break everything down on what needs to be done. Thank you so much, such a big help!
Great series, I would love to see you do the series based on wall art, canvas, metal, posters etc I know it is pretty much the same techniques, but there are nuances that are different with wall art.
Your videos are so thorough and incredible. That bulk edit feature you’re using for tags is such a game changer. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!!
I can’t wait to try making designs and adding POD to my Etsy shop! Thanks for the detailed instructions. Now I can go back and improve my listings that I have for my hand made with you suggestions! I still learning.
Thank you so much Mandy:) All of your tutorials are so helpful and easy to follow. I have my initial designs ready but I was so confused between listing in Printify and then Etsy and all of the settings. Now, after this Video I feel very confident to get my 1st listing published!
This was by far one of the most helpful insight videos for listing I’ve seen. I now gotta try to switch the old version because it’s so much more tedious with the newer version I’ve been using. Thank you for making this video! Very helpful
You are so awesome! Your videos are so helpful and well thought out. You are specific and to the point. I have watched many, many POD videos and no one compares to your transparent, efficient and productive method. Thank you for letting us look over your shoulder!
Thank you so very much for a no nonsense approach and walking through it just as its Donne. It's nice and so refreshing to see the actual steps without ridiculus hype.I appreciate the realism :-) and the help!! :-)😊
Mandy, once again great job - sincere thanks for providing so much free material. I do have a question, however, that none of the 'big" POD youtubers have ever discussed....in your opinion what makes that stand out star seller? It can’t be tenacity, lots of great looking mocks, or even a couple of 5-star reviews, because I’ve seen ppl comment on all of these things and are still stuck - some after several years. There’s something else….In your opinion, who cuts it and who doesn't? I also work in HR so I know we HR people are extremely observant. You must have made some observations or developed a personal opinion on this topic. Can you share?
You are just so helpful. These are the most relatable & knowledgeable videos I've seen. Your process is so much like mine. I also do not like the new listing tool. I wish they didn't' change it. I just think the flow does not make sense at all and it's slower to load pictures for me. Thank you for your videos!!
Thank you for your great videos Mandy! You have so many good tips for keeping the process streamlined - it's helped me so much in getting new listings up!
Hi Mandy! I'm a huge fan of your streamlined processes. I love how your organized brain works! Do you have any thoughts regarding the pacing of our listings? I've heard other influencers (well, one mainly) say that you shouldn't post more than 1 listing per day. I believe it's so you can take full advantage of the little boost that the Etsy algo gives new listings. At that rate, a new seller will take
Thanks for another great video, Mandy! Some tutorials mention that we should not touch our titles and tags for a while after posting because Etsy's algorithm would get confused. But after watching these, I'm itching to change many of mine. I wouldn't be able to tell if it's hurting me or not, because my views are still so low. I also have been afraid of posting listings before finishing all attributes, but with your tag method, you had several posted before adding any tags to them. Am I overthinking that? Thanks again for everything!
Love your videos Mandy, a question regarding processing orders, do you have dedicated time slots during the day when you sit and process all the orders? Like perhaps once in the morning and once at night or you just fulfill them as they come in? Thank you!!
So much time savings with this series. Thank you. So quick question. Once they are active on Etsy it still shows hidden in printify. Will this cause an issue when someone orders an item?
I mentioned in the video briefly that I do have it and occasionally use it, but I’ve gotten so much faster at my process for listing in Etsy that it’s no longer as much of a time saver for the initial listing (plus for new learners it’s an additional system to have to figure out, so I try to minimize all the add-ons when teaching the process). I do use it for certain bulk changes though 😊
Excellent content Mandy! quick question about the SKUS in the personalization realm: would we have the same results in printify (sending to other orders) if we toggle the "SKUS vary" to off? I think this would save so much time rather than manually deleting each sku. Thanks again!
Printing is not showing the option to link the variations. 😢 What am I doing wrong?? p.s aI am obsessed with your videos! Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise! ❤
Removing the SKUs essentially unlinks it directly from a product in Printify - so when an order comes through for that item, instead of going into your regular orders where all you need to do is hit submit on the order, it will go into your Other Orders tab in Printify. I prefer to do it this way so that I can keep my orders organized and I don't accidentally submit a personalized order before I've had a chance to update the design with the customization and complete the process :)
Hi there! I just completed the updating of my tags in the designs. However, I had to do it one by one because there seems to be a technical glitch in the Quick Edit page where it would not let me update the tags and copy and paste. Very weird. So, doing it one by one was time consuming. Don't you just hate technology? Lol
Do you use Swift POD for a lot of your products? Are you ge really happy with their quality? I keep hearing horror stories and I'm new enough that a couple bad reviews could sink me
Printify has millions of sellers and their printers are processing thousands of products a day - keep in mind that what we see in groups or social media posts is a small fraction of that. And negativity in general will always be the loudest voice in a room. That doesn’t mean it’s not valid or frustrating when an issue happens for those sellers, but you do have to keep it in perspective when making a decision for your own products. Don’t get discouraged- there are still plenty of good things happening with most suppliers, SwiftPod included- you just don’t hear about them because those are “normal”. The product reviews are of course very helpful, that’s what they’re there for (and many are positive experiences) - but I always recommend trying at least one sample of what you’re selling as well so that you can see what your customer is getting and can use that as the basis for decision making for your business. To answer your question specifically: I’ve used SwiftPod almost exclusively for my apparel for over a year now along with a few others around the holidays as backups for stock. I primarily sell Gildan 18000, but also BC 3001, Comfort Colors 1717, and Gildan 64000. I’ve sold multiple thousands of sweatshirts and tshirts in that time and the percentage of issues I’ve encountered is very small. That’s not to say issues don’t ever happen (and of course it’s frustrating when they happen, I get that - and for a new seller it’s even scarier), but they do not happen as often as posts may lead you to believe. Outsourcing production of a product you sell always comes with a risk no matter who you use - and even the good ones have bad days. I run a handmade business as well and dealing with issues when they come is part of running a business - but there are definitely ways to help reduce them and manage customer expectations as well. Hope that helps offer some perspective 😊
As a shop owner you can access a referral link that allows you to give 40 listings to someone opening their shop. Once they open, you also get 40 listings free as the person referring. I share my link on my videos so that others can access the 40 free listings to start their shops….and in return I’ve accumulated a lot of my own free listings in the process 😅
Hi Mandy I love your videos, just some suggestions for accessability- for some people like myself with neurological issues, having the subtitles in the video makes it unwatchable bc it is constant animation / movement. If someone wants subtitles they can easily manually turn them on in youtube, just some feedback, thank you ;)
This is super helpful, I appreciate you saying this! I’ve had several people ask for the burned in captions (🤷🏻♀️) so I’ve gone back and forth on them. I’m more than happy to leave them off though (and it’ll save me tons of editing time in having to fix the random typos from the captioning software 😅 - win win!) 💜
thanks for responding ;) i watch a ton of you tube and honestly have to stop watching certain channels i like bc of the captioning and animation . @@studiomdesignsco

You are amazing Mandy! Thank you for sharing your creativity and short cuts that help tremendously.
I'm surprised you didn't use the bulk editing option to add the print provider to all the listings at once. 28:54
Some great tips! I never knew about "Link Color"! Thanks!
Thank you so much! I cannot believe how much I am learning! So grateful.

Great series. Learn alot from it.
What type of videos do you do for your products that are POD?

So quick question. Once they are active on Etsy it still shows hidden in printify. Will this cause an issue when someone orders an item?
Have you used vela to do bulk updates vs each listing? At $5/ month I am thinking it will be faster in time blocking.
The duplication of personalized items is a little confusing. I'm a beginner. What is the reasoning of removing the sku numbers? help. Thanks
