THIS GAME MODE NEEDS TO BE IN BATTLEFRONT...
The game mode is simular to wampa hunt mode in battlefront 2.
Depending on what planet your playing
( Endor: evil Ewoks, Hoth: Wampas, Tatooine: Tusken Raiders/Jawas.)
Some one will be randomly selected to start of as a Wampa. When the player playing as a Wampa kills someone that person becomes a Wampa also.
The Wampas Goal is to kill all survivors.
The Survivours goal is to Stay alive until the time limit runs out. The time restarts each time a survivor dies.
Wampas have an unlimited amount of lives while survivors only have one before they get turned into a Wampa. Melle Attacks are a instant kill.
Different races will have different abilitys.
Wampas: have extra health
Tusken Raiders: have a cycler rifle with a long cool down time.
Ewoks: have spears and stones that they can throw at short distances that do small damage.
PLEASE EA PUT THIS IN THE GAME!!!

That christmas I got a ps4 and this in ultimate edition and I didnt stop playing this game until battlefront 2 came out. What I'm saying is I wish people still played this as much as they used too

I really miss being excited for this game. I just couldn’t get as excited for Battlefront II. After playing Battlefront II for a while I just find myself missing something that this game had. Not sure what it was, it just seemed more fun.

This game was such an important part of my childhood. I remember inviting friends round to play it and us all being absolutely engrossed in it. My first "date" was also inviting my "crush" round to play it haha. Genuinely loved it so much. I'm absolutely thrilled that I've managed to get my little sister into it now (When I was younger, she always used to annoy me by turning this game off to put Daniel Tiger's Neighbourhood on) and now she loves it just as much as I did

Instead of growing up with cod I grew up with this game i was very young at the time yet I remember how good i was, and i would be at the top of pretty much every leaderboard for every game I played i wish i could go back man

110$ + DLC The fuck are you talking about?! You have probably watched too much AngryJoe or you are otherwise just stupid. Game costs 60$ as any other AAA game. Expansion packs costs 15$ each. So quite basic, there is nothing different in this game compared to other AAA games.

I really like this cause it's Star Wars and the sound/visuals are phenomenal, but what turns me away from getting the game is the thought that "If you took this exact same gameplay and made it something other than Star Wars, I wouldn't give it a moment of my time."

I have flown in DICE games for 13 years, I am one of the UK's top jet pilots in BF4, this has been noobified for the masses. A real kick in the teeth for peole like myself who have supported DICE all this time.
It’s the beginning of 2021. I’ve been playing since Christmas 2016. Returning to watch this since then is something special. The nostalgia is extra potent with this game, it’s flow, and especially the music in this trailer. That opening sequence with the force theme is just right

All awesome except that fact that in Battlefront 2 there were much more maps and heroes with addition of space battles, compaign, several type of soldiers on each side and all of this was in 1 game - not DLCs which we must buy.

This is a well made trailer that makes the game look really good, and tbh most of this trailer runs true to game. I'm really looking forward to this and Six Siege and hopefully those two contrasting each other will be able to keep my FPS part of me happy to the next Battlefield.

God damn, do I hate all the pessimists. It's alright to not like the game, but don't ruin the joy for those who are excited for it. We get it, you wanted an exact copy of Star Wars Battlefront ll with a updated look. Guess what? Doing so would be a video-game developer's worst nightmare; taking someone's product and simply updating its appearance. Giving no creative-effort.
This is the game we're getting, it keeps the core idea of the Battlefront franchise alive; while being a fresh take on it. Either get with the time, accept the changes or stay in your personal time-machine of "better times"; just keep your overly-negative opinions to yourself.
If you want to criticize the game, then do it in a civilized way; without treating people, who actually want to enjoy this game, like crap.

Honestly, I think those features that people are endlessly complaining about aren't really that important to the game-play. To me, the complaints are present because people can't comprehend a Battlefront game without them because they've never had to experience not having them.
Galactic conquest? Basically a game-tutorial with crappy voice-over (You'll get your offline game-tutorial in this game's Missions section).
Classes? Good for weapon variety; now replaced with even further weapon-customization, you don't have to constrict your arsenal of weapons completely to a specific character anymore. This game will be more of a mix and match than those classes ever accomplished. Being able to fix vehicles was fun, though. But I think destroying turrets and other useful things on the battle-field permanently makes the game more fun and more chaotic.
Space battles? Those were fun to an extent, but rather dull in appearance. Fighter Squadron will at least bring a lot of life in its atmosphere as you soar the skies. Same experience, more vibrant in presentation.
I could get behind the idea of offline co-op in your mode and map of preference; but playing among other users will be fine as well.
But that's just my take on said features. You don't have to agree with me.
I just wish we could have more heroes and villains to play as. Cause where's Obi Wan, Yoda, Lando, Dengar, Bossk, IG-88, hell I would take Jabba the Hutt and Lobot too
EDIT: Seeing other comments we also shouldn't forget Chewie. People are also saying Ahsoka, Ventress and Cad Bane as well as other Prequel Characters (if we eventually see Clone Wars DLC), and i know that some say that it would be interesting to see Kanan and the Inquisitor from Rebels.

I love how a lot of fans was hating on this game when it came out, now everyone adores it like battlefront 2 2005. I miss this game too. Wish this one had as many players as the second. I would play both back and forth. They're both quite different in their own unique ways.

There is no doubt this game will be good and immersive, but the lack of content and the fact it is inferior to the original Battlefront games hurts me. This game does not live up to what "BATTLEFRONT" should be. Either erase the name or add the content all true fans want, not the sheeps. I'm content if it's a DLC, but please add it.
Also just to clarify I never said this game sucks, and I don't want to hear someone bring up graphics. This is 2015, era of modern PC's and "next-gen" consoles.
I completely agree, this would make more sense if it was advertised as a spinoff of battlefield but it being added as a battlefront game makes it look bad. in fact, the demo of the game they released back in 2008 was something with amazing potential, not only could you play through it like in the previous one but it also had more characters, a new campaign story, ability to fly hero/background ships, the ability to destroy hangerships, more map varieties, cinematic cut scenes and most of all, it allowed you the ability to fly from a battle on the ground into a space battle
What happened to that version of the game??

Just wait. There definitely won't be space battles (I'm ok with because the rouge squadron games mastered them) but I'm sure we'll get clone wars content, more maps, and more heroes and villains because this is a reboot of battlefront 1, which had all of that stuff except space combat. But I hope that there will be a game mode where you can attack the starship fleet like in bf2 but just in the planet's atmosphere.

This was my favorite game of all time. I miss the community around this game. I wish people played this game like it was in 2015-2016 still. One of my favorite childhood games that will forever stay with me. I wish I could go back.

The COD franchise went downhill after MW3. I like present day, WW2, And Cold War stuff. I think that a COD game that takes place during the final 2 years of WW2 and all 3 years of the Korean War would be cool. There's not enough games for the Korean War. Even though it was only 3 years long it had some pretty nasty fighting and big battles that would be great to play in a game.

Say what you will about the amount of content and the questionable balancing updates, the gameplay and visuals of this Battlefront game is the best of all. 8 years after release and I'm still wishing the game had a longer lifespan than ~2 years.

It was actually the first starwars game I played and as a huge star wars fan it was great to me the only thing i could have wished for more is that i would love to have an actual campaign.
