You can't pull up because you are using the wing control surfaces for pitch. Set wing control surfaces for roll, tail plane control for pitch, and rudder for yaw.
His center of mass is way too far forward compared to the center of lift, requiring extremely high speeds to overcome the offset of CoM to be able to pull up. Nevermind the back wheels being too far back so he cannot pull up from the ground unless he gets really fast
Stop entertaining his "mess ups for content". He's played kerbal so he's familiar with all these concepts. It's the exact reason he deliberately puts his centre of mass just behind his thrust if you watch. All so people comment and gives him more interaction. This video proves it finally

Drae, whan building a tail dragger (a plane with a back wheel) make sure the nose of the plane points up (by making your front wheels taller than the tail wheel). It helps you take off. The plane you built has its fuselage pretty much parallel with the ground and when you try to pitch up you're basically just trying to push your tail wheel in the ground. Also, your ailerons were also acting as elevators, and they were pretty much negating what the elevators at the back were trying to do.

Hey Drae you're losing power on the same altitude three times probably because jet engines work with air, and the higher you go, the less air they can pull in! You should have a jet stage for the lower atmosphere and a (probably?) gas stage for the upper atmosphere
You should just watch a quick video on Center of Gravity in relation to Center of Lift. Its extremely important in aeroplanes. I found out the hard way
Its just one of the old ksp devs. but also a lot of people are disappointed with the ksp2 devs being laid off, so theyre back to playing the first game, but there are absolutely tons of mods you can play with. and personally i love the first game, i even played it yesterday and built a plane from a shirt my grandma bought me 😂
I thought it might be an Australian game with Wirraway Bay as the locale, but it's Canadian, so maybe just some Commonwealth love there for the old CAC Wirraway aircraft.
Hope some genuine will craft something like Corsair, MiG, Saber or Ju-87G(Especially this type). And by the way, the first creation reminds me of J7W Shinden. Which was built totally backwards of a plane.
I always feel guilty remembering Kerbal because one of the few times I played it I didn’t anticipate my rocket reaching orbit so I had no way to get the poor guy back down!
@@lechking941 I think it's more of a missing parachute/heatshield, considering getting to orbit costs a lot but returning, all you need is to touch the atmosphere ANYwhere in the orbit and then you airbrake eventually

It's essentially a virtual model club, you will not be going to the moon with a model rocket.

It’s a hydrofoil, not an ekranoplan. They don’t touch the water when they’re moving.

Gas also uses air to work, both to have power & to produce thrust, rockets are the only source of thrust that have their own oxygen supply.

Different devs. This is made by a team that has the dude who originally made the first ksp. This is not made by private division, who made ksp 2.
