  • I traded in my 2020 Can Am Outlander 570 after 3 years of owning it for a brand new 2023 Yamaha Grizzly 700 EPS. In this video, I touch on the reason why I let go of the Can Am and do a short walkaround on the Yamaha Grizzly.

      Hey man. I still own a 2014 Polaris 570 myself and it is a good machine. That is awesome you moved your battery into the storage bin. That is a wise change to not have to deal with in down low. The power steering is pretty dang sweet. A must have if you want to ride more comfortable through harder terrain. Thanks for watching my friend.

    That definitely looks like a great rig! When I was in the market, the grizzly was definitely one I was considering. Ultimately, went with the Outlander 650. I found a '21 with only 70 engine miles on it for a great price since I didn't have to pay for the shipping and assembly fees dealerships add on making them around 2k more than the sticker price. So far, no problems. But I haven't went on some long excursions on it yet. Your vids definitely have me longing for the long trip sometime in the near future.

      I hope you have no issues in the future with your Can Am. I think I ended up with a bad apple from Can Am. My neighbor owns a 570 Outlander with no issues. So I don’t know what the deal was with my machine. But I don’t blame you for going with it on the cost savings you got. 2k is a big savings. Happy riding buddy. Thanks for watching and commenting.

    Sorry the Can-Am didn't work out. I have yet to ride on even a warm day (maybe this Sunday) so have had no opportunity to see how my Outlander behaves when it gets hot out.

I will run these tires a little while before I get a beefy set. I left Can Am a nasty gram. A rep called me back and I told them you lost a customer for life with their lousy warranty that didn't cover anything. I spend probably 2500 in repairs. Not including what next if I didn't trade it right then. Happy riding and we will catch up buddy.

    Those Grizzly's are nice machines. Much better than the canned hams in my opinion. When it came decision time for me, I went with the Suzuki King Quad instead. I couldn't find any decently priced used Grizzly's (a testament to people hanging on to them) when I was looking and to be honest, I just liked the look of the KQ better. But I sure would like that rear disc and more suspension 😉 Nice ride my friend!

    I had the exact same issue with 2 BRP seadoos a 260 and 300 rxtx 1600 cc. They would over heat constantly engine light would come on. I would hear a hissing sound coming from gas cap. I opened it, it would pop and gas would shoot out. I'm sorry to say but BRP, Polaris, Artic cat the quality is just not there. They don't last and there is constant issues. The Japanese just do it better. Look at the automotive industry. Same thing there GM and Ford are Garbage vechicals, and I own 2 GM trucks. This is coming from a owner. You may get a good one with no problems but the other 10 are nothing but. Japanese are little people so unfortunately they don't go big vechicals like yukons and suburbans which I need for a large family. Glad to hear you made the switch to a quality brand. I almost guarantee you ll have little to no issues with this bike.

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures
      @ManzanoManATVAdventures  Рік тому

      That is crazy to hear you had the same issues with your seadoos. You would think that Can Am would get it together. I am glad to be moving away from Can Am and into Yamaha. I can already see a quality difference on the machine versus Polaris and Can Am. I know what you mean by the lack of bigger vehicles. You would think they would move that way. Thanks for watching buddy.

    Yamaha have the same controls as my cfmoto with the 2wd/4wd and diff-lock system.
    You got yourself a really good atv there, Yamaha have really good belt and warranty on the belt aswell. What I really like about Yamaha is that they have so much storage space on the bike.
    I wanted to buy Yamaha back in 2018, but they didn't have and 2-up version.

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures

      I was looking at the cfmoto and noticed that they both have a similar setup. I know you have had a good ATV with yours. I am glad to have the Yamaha. I can’t believe the issue I have had with my Can Am. I’ve owned many machines and brand throughout my life and by far this machine costed me more in repairs that all my other machines combined. I never could get a single thing covered under warranty and it was clearly a Can Am issue. Anyways, thanks for watching buddy.

      Anyway, I am loving the Yamaha! It’s got great power and super comfortable. The override button from what my dealer told me is you are not governed if you use it in reverse to help you get out of iffy situations. Thanks for the comment buddy.

    Nice quad! Bummer about the 570 issues. I have a ‘17 with 7000 miles and had good luck. How’s the suspension and seat? I recall the Grizzlys ride like a Cadillac.

      I do believe I got the bad apple in the bunch. My neighbor has a 570 and he never has problems with his. I’m glad your machine has treated you well. The ride on the Yamaha is smooth and comfortable. Even better with reduced tire air pressure. So that is a nice added bonus. Thanks for watching man.

    I love the grizzly I think they are one of the best bikes ever made for the ATV world but I just could not pay what they want for the 700 I did sell my 2 older ATV's and buy myself a new bike Unfortunately not Yamaha but I am happy with my purchase.

    I just found your channel last year and like it a lot. I can tell you are into trail riding as much as I am just by your enthusiasm you have in your videos. I wish you were in Utah..... we'd definitely have to hook up and ride together. It's hard to find atv trail riders and overlanders around here these days. Everyone has gone to those boring SXS!
    My cameras aren't as good as your's, and neither is my editing software, but I have a trail riding channel too. Check it out if you ever are interested in some Utah trails. Cheers, and keep the shiny side up!👍

      Hey man, thanks for checking out my channel. That would be so cool to hit some trails out there in Utah. It is too bad we don’t live any closer or else we would have to get out there and go ride and do some camping.
      SXS are nice, but not my choice of exploring. ATVs give a better thrill in my opinion.
      I will sun and check out some video man. I appreciate you watching and dropping a comment.

    570 v-twin was fun but the rest of the atv was a mess. Did anyone at brp ever test ride one of those things?

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures
      @ManzanoManATVAdventures  Рік тому

      I agree. The v-twin had nice power to it, but aside from that the ATV was a constant problem. It is sad to know Can Am hasn't taken better care of their line yup. Thanks for watching.

    What did you mean about let air out, was you talking about the tires or shocks?

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures
      @ManzanoManATVAdventures  Рік тому +1

      I find that when I let air out of my tires, it helps a little with not being so stiff on the trails so the tired absorb rocks a little easier also lending a little help on the shocks not taking it so hard either. Airing down to at least 5psi is a good all around pressure to have. Plus it helps when going through mud, sand, and other trail challenges.

    I looked st them but they had nothing. I checked the cfmoto brand got a awesome unit with winch, fully adjustable shocks bigger tires bead locks. More storage and 9 gallon tank. Plus more for the same price point. Plus 5 year warranty. Yamaha or can am can't beat it. Look in to them .

      700 Yamaha will have more power more low end. Torque, doesn't need the 5-year warranty like you'll definitely need for the CF Moto. That Yamaha will be more dependable than just about any other bike on the market. Not to mention it has a smaller gas tank for a reason, it sips fuel compared to a CFMoto. Yamaha also guarantees their engine for 20 years. You don't see that with a CF Moto, also. Yamaha has a 10-year warranty on their belt, you break it in 10 years. They'll replace it free of charge. You don't break or burn a belt on the Yamaha. Yamaha is a much better bang for your buck than anything from CFMoto

      @@ManzanoManATVAdventures Your welcome 🙂 I've been stuck in Michigan all my life, I enjoy the variety of scenery from content creators like yourself. Some are very educational, like your camping trip with friends, when the Monsoon hit. If I ever get to travel the trails out west / south west, I know to be weather aware, and terrain aware. Never camp in a low area where I might get caught in the onslaught of a flash flood. It looked like ya'll had a good site - lots of water but did not get flooded out.

But I know what you mean, I watch videos from different areas and it is so cool to see how the earth is different all over. But if you ever get out west to camp and explore, I think you will enjoy the time you have here. Thanks again buddy,

    Your gas vent problem on the Can-Am was your own fault due to the lack of maintenance. Coming from Yamaha. I can tell you if you don't maintenance the tube. You'll experience the same thing. FYI on the Yamaha your high beams are all three lights, not just the top one. The bottom are LED that top middle one is useless.

    • @ManzanoManATVAdventures
      @ManzanoManATVAdventures  Рік тому +1

      For you to assume the gas venting issue was a lack of maintenance is funny to me. You have no clue how I take care of my machines. So for someone who has owned Polaris, Arctic Cat, Suzuki, Can-Am, and now Yamaha, how do you explain that no other ATV I have owned never had this problem let alone the stacking problems I kept on having with my Can Am. I have taken my Can-Am to the shop many times for repairs for them to keep on happening. And since you think I didn't take care of my machine, send me your address so I can send you my dealer receipts for a reimbursement since Can-Am extended warranty was junk also! They never covered a thing.
