I've been in therapy for 7 months now. Learned I've had CPTSD and ADHD my whole life and I'm in my 40's now - just thought I was broken the whole time. This is def one of the best informational vids covering disorganized attachment that I've seen. It's really difficult to get solid insights on this topic and I resonated with your description so well. Thank you.
Um, will you be my therapist LOL?!! Excellent information, cannot thank you enough . ive just been educating myself on the subject after a lifetime of struggling....many years of therapy, life-coaches, a decade of aca, now sober recovery....beginning to heal. Its a terribly long road. The primary thing for me has been this persistent *confusion *. People in my midst going "Gosh shes so capable...if she could only..." its beyond maddening. Am finding more peace and compassion lately. Thank you! 🙏🏾💖
As an adoptee adopted out at birth, from my personal experience and many other adoptees I've spoken with is that we all developed an attachment to our mothers since being in the womb. And the separation during adoption caused huge attachment traumas. It's a wonder why a large % of people in rehabs come from adoption backgrounds.
Thank you for this interesting video! As someone recently diagnosed w CPTSD I highly appreciate the information & context and your calm, matter of fact way of presenting it.
Thank you for your efforts in taking your time to educate us in this important information and matters of the human mind. Gratitude overwhelm from my heart to yours, again a great big thank you the true gift that you are to us. new Sub here glad I found this channel. 🌻
@@childrenofnarcissists Thanks for your videos. I hadn't searched for anything on trauma online but somehow your video on Clues you may have CPTSD showed up on my UA-cam recommended videos list. It came just at the right time. I'm 39 and only just realising how these dynamics have played out in my life. Thanks for making these videos and sharing your insights.
