As no one else has mentioned, just to let you know that this track was inspired by the classic dystopian novel of the same name written by Aldous Huxley and so the lyrics reflect this
I listened to a few songs by Kalandra before hearing Brave New World. I wasn't quite sold until this. They still don't quite hit it out of the park for me personally with everything they do but man are they incredible when they do.
Controlled wildness. So spot on. Yes, like a really nice person who is going to get really angry very soon. :) If you like mood and melancholy, you will fall in love with their songs. If Katrine's voice would not be enough.
I really love this performance! They now have a full-time drummer (who is great), but there's something special about seeing Katrine handle those duties in this performance. I mean, she's already one of my favorite vocalists. I'm pretty sure that "Slow Motion" live at Gildehallen is already in your queue, but her vocals are insane in that one! That would be a great follow-up to this one.
