She doesn't mind making mistakes, and with her brilliance, it doesn't at all diminish her performance. Regardless of the mood she's in, she remains captivating. “How’s he managed to find a crowd of people that can all sing?” Apart from the fact that his fans are mainly musicians, everyone can sing a scale if we’re given a reference. You guessed right. Doesn’t have to be perfect because we essentially even each other out when you have a large group like that. Experiencing it in person though… surreal, legitimately. It is once-in-a-lifetime. Can’t believe he recreates it like every week… you’re absolutely not getting carried away, it’s emotionally moving. His live mahogany session version is the one I feel you should have done. I too think his produced songs are too chaotic for our mortal, non composers ears so appreciate fully. That being said, Aurora's voice is a little little bit smoother (I love euphemisms...). Singing little giants have a wonderful voice. It's so rare that one of them visit us. As lucky as she sings to be, we are even luckier to be alive at such a time we can hear her, I think.... Not sure if anyone has already explained but twenty one pilots have been telling a story in their music in the last four albums, kind of in loose 'concept album' way. I have to stress it''s absolutely possible to enjoy and appreciate their music without knowing the story, which you will hear fans refer to as 'the Lore', but I'm just letting you know because if that is something that interests you, there is an order to listen in, and there will be some lyrics/videos which refer to that story. These two songs you've reacted to are from the latest album Clancy which may or may not conclude the storyline, we are not quite sure! Edit; also, yes they are really nice guys. Very down to earth, not 'starry' at all, they haven;t forgotten their humble beginnings.

      @thevikingbuddha 3 дні тому

      @@Jules-R No, nobody has mentioned that, so thank you for doing so. And yes I'm extremely interested in learning more about that. Can you help me understand the order as that seems like the perfect way to immerse myself into their artistic output?

    • @Jules-R
      @Jules-R 3 дні тому

      @@thevikingbuddha Happy to. There is a short 'journey' which is purely for the those just wanting to follow the Lore songs/videos. But as you used the word 'immerse' and seem to want to get to know more about Tyler's lyrics, I think most of us would recommend starting with the album Vessel from 2013 (their first album on a record label) and going fowards in time from there so you can see how they have grown and how their music has evolved. It will also naturally lead you into the more Lore based music associated with the later albums. (Just a quick note, the band started in 2009 and there were two self-released/self-recorded albums back then, before the current drummer Josh joined the band in 2011, but Vessel is the best starting point IMO). So the album order will be Vessel, Blurryface, Trench, Scaled and Icy and Clancy. From Vessel start with Ode To Sleep. It's like a documentary style music video and will introduce you to how the Tyler and Josh started out as a two piece band back in 2011. Other popualr songs from Vessel are Car Radio, Holding On To You, Migraine, Guns For Hands, Trees and Truce but people may request others intead or as well. It really depends how much time you want to spend on twenty one pilots! Let the fans in the comments guide you throughout, we are a dedicated and knowledgable bunch and love it when a reactor really wants to get their teeth into the music and connect with the band!

    Also, did you see why she named her fans Warriors and Weirdos? She thinks everyone should be reminded to be a Warrior. She also stated, that those who feel they don't fit in, that battle everyday in some way are Warriors and that means, you don't have to be a weirdo to be a warrior, but if you are a weirdo, you are a warrior. I am sure Aurora counts herself among the weirdos, she is an introvert and she battled that for many years when performing live, it caused her great anxiety to perform live. She conquered those fears and now she is comfortable performing live, although she feels it is still bit uncomfortable she enjoys the energy she gets from her audience.

    tyler said this is his favourite song from their most recent album. this song makes me emotional, i feel proud of how far tyler has come, to still be making music and now touring with his wife and 3 kids, and with the reminder for myself that even though you don't always outgrow the things you struggle with you learn new ways of coping with them and find new reasons and ways to keep going and find joy in life. theres an onging joke that the drummer, josh, is always doing all the work in their music videos so this was a little nod to that and liked how they highlighed the work of their crew with the behind the scenes clips at the end.

    One song you could listen to popped up on your computer screen briefly - Wild Mountain Thyme, which was from a PBS program that featured Jacob, Dodie and Laughey. He leads an audience choir at the Kennedy Center in that one. I was there a couple of nights later when Jacob premiered World O World, an a capella piece for choir - also worth viewing online. So many other songs to recommend including Bridge Over Troubled Waters, either the studio version that includes Yebba or the live version which has Tori Kelly and John Legend.
