Another lovely painting, in real time, and excellent commentary. Pity for the adjacent conversations that marred your wonderful video.
    Thank you Garry.

At last a chance to see a painting in real time, thank you very much Gary. It was very exciting and revealing. The speeded up versions give a misleading impression of how much care is taken over brush strokes, apart from making paint-alongs difficult. I strained to hear your comments over the noise and chatter of spectators but it was worth it. Lovely feeling of a busy Central Park.

Barbara Gemin I agree with everything you said. It was difficult to follow but I loved it still.

I loved watching in normal time. The conversations made it difficult to hear what you had to say but I did love hearing the saxophone and the passerby’s. I do wish the lady had not been talking so much, although I did love hearing her comments and questions, just not during your monologue. Other than that I LOVED IT!!!!

Very enjoyable watching your paintings develop. I purchased the mop brushes that you suggested in your .pdf and understand the reason that you like painting with them.

Great demo, I like that slower speed, shows what care you really take when painting, thank you.

Gary, just another phenomenal piece of work! I needed to concentrate to filter out what was being said in the background so I did not miss your narrated words. I soon realized that part of the background was you talking to others while you were actually painting. So as not to miss a word of my favorite teacher I went back and concentrated on your unedited conversations. Your methodology is challenging but your results are are so intriguing I do not mind producing inferior works while refining your methods myself. Thanks, Robt

Had to watch it again Gary, love this painting. I had to chuckle though. In the background you are talking with a lady about your brushes and you said “ I keep them until they are sticks...then I say a little prayer and let them go. Classic.

Gary, I love your videos and have just watched about fifteen of them in a row. I've learned a lot so I'll pass along a tip of my own. There's this thing called a volume control that allows you to reduce the volume of the background noise. That way, your words can be heard. I'd suggest watching your videos before publishing them, too, so it 's easier to notice when they are unwatchable. Hey, being a painter is no excuse for making lousy videos any more than being a videographer is an excuse for making lousy paintings.
Having such a likeable personality in addition to a great talent for watercolor, I'm guessing you have a sense of humor as well, and can tell when you're being teased. How about you promise not to show any more videos like this and I promise not to show anybody my paintings. Deal?

Really love these videos. I do really good artwork. But I stress myself out over length of time plein airing, sun, humidity, end result, very technical and tight in my rendering. I have to admit I tend to be people shy. I don't exactly like strangers I dont know walking up on me to see my painting. While its flattering... maybe its assumptive of me but I feel they are slightly rude. Just because I'm painting its not an open invite. Granted privacy isnt happening in a public space but eeesh. I tend to see it as like someone writing in their journal or working on their laptop at a coffee shop you dont hover over them.

    This is unlistenable.
In future, I think your narration should be a little louder, or perhaps you could reduce the volume of the location recording. The levels are too similar. It's hard to follow to your analysis. I gave up on this video. Too difficult. Annoying to try to listen to.
