Hello Gary (bonjour) I do not comment all your videos, but I watch them ALL. Sometimes I get back in the past and have a look at some special ones because of the interestthey represent at some very special moments. You are a great painter and a tireless, incurable teacher :). Merci beaucoup.
It’s so good to see you again. Throughout time you have become my favorite watercolor artist. Your loose brushwork and technique, the use of color and loose compositions and your relaxed way of teaching, makes your channel great! Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
I love how you managed the complexity here. Beautiful painting, very evocative of the scene, thank you so much for sharing your process both of sketch and painting :-)
Thank you for this perfect art lesson...you are very inspiring , with your warm voice you are helping us to better understand what is important and how to express
Your videos are not only very inspiring but so well put together. Even an old klutz like me has now dug out the brushes, the tubes and paper and started to try and paint again.
At 36:49 you added a tiny stripe of white that changed everything for me. All of a sudden I could see the shadows. Then I could see how the white leads the eyes to the tower. Great lesson. Thank you.
When I first saw this scene years ago, my very first thought was "I could never do that", and though it's certainly tricky, it seems easier than one may think!
Thank you for your time to bring the tutorial to the screen. You use kind of pattern from simple shape repeated to capture the complicated scene, made beautiful picture as you always do.Specialy i like your design and colour theme.
Awesome Gary! Fyi Chitrapat paper is a beautiful handmade paper from India that has more of a random grain (as opposed to machine pressed) similar to leather, which provides a subtle texture to dry brush strokes (less uniformity) and also more of a granular quality.
it is my favorite painting among the many of yours. Appreciate your commentary so much. They are very helpful. I would like to know if you offer any online workshops. ^ ^

I love your videos, Gary. Do you think you might be uploading videos in the future with a higher resolution? At 360px, everything appears quite blurry/pixelated on the screen.
Hi Gary.. I am a subscriber of your videos.. Your teaching method is simple and interesting... pl. give the information about paper , brushes & colors which you use...
Gary - your videos have been so helpful in my own watercolor journey. Do you have a Patreon account or other way we can support all the work you put into your channel?
Thanks for sharing, but I don't think the video is very useful the way you did it. Most peopel are going to want to paint along with you. But we can't. There is no reference photo. There is no picture-in-picture of the reference photo. We cannot see what you're painting. It is impossible to follow what you're doing unless there is a reference photo.
Your ability to simplify the subject matter and come out with exceptional art is amazing
Thank you Gary. I just discovered you. I love your paintings and your great, calm instructions. Thank you!

You make it look so easy, one day I’m going to pluck the courage and pick a brush up again
I think your idea of using tones of a single colour might be a good place to start
