I just put a bit of chopped up butter first before i put in my flower so it sits on the butter as it melts. Butter comes our clean and golden everytime.
Once you’ve made your infused oil, any edible you make with it should taste great! (As long as the recipe is a good one and you don’t undercook or burn whatever you make😉)
Thank you for doing this great video. Have you used your levo 2 to decarb and infuse with kief ? if so do have any tips or tricks so the oil stays clean.
The thc calculator on the app seems to produce much lower total mg than I expected using the typical weight*percent*0.877 (decarb loss) calculation. Is this mostly due to an assumption about weight loss from drying/decarb, loss from the infusion process, or a mix of both? Curious if I could weigh post-decarb flower and multiply thc*weight*0.877 to get close or if there’s an additional assumption for infusion loss. Sorry if this causes infusion confusion. You clearly nailed it based on t-check results!
There are various loss factors along the way that most don’t account for. In addition to weight loss from decarbing there are also losses during the infusion process. In addition, infusions are never 100%. The calculator takes all of those loss factors into account.
I think you answered this but I want to make sure I understand. Are you saying I can use the Levo 2 for the decarbing or Activation process, without using the pods and using the screens instead?
I tried the French press hack. I could not get the screen to fit upside down in my Levo machine so I could activate my flower. When I put the screen upside dow during activation is it suppose to fit flat or have a small dome shape?
Hi Trudy, yes, when you flip the screen upside down to dry and decarb, it will be dome shaped. The reason for this is to create an air pocket and a bit of distance between your herbs and the hot bottom of the metal receptacle to prevent your herbs from burning.
Hey wassup man , 3 questions . 1,) Can you smell any of the steps in this video if you are living in a non smoking residential area ? 2.) I reviewed your article on the steps to take to make your cannbutter/olive oil more potent with your metal ring , but can you make a video step by step to that . I can read lol but I’m more a visual learner , pretty sure a lot of ppl are . Like with calculating the measurements as well. Also can you change the camera angle a little in your videos , (we can’t see when you put your hand in ; for people without the levo , we are left in the dark kinda guessing ) Can you connect more with us with your personal steps to make the butter less weed tasty w measurements etc 3.) can you make a video with decarbing hash / shatter with the levo 2? Since I live in a non smoking environment, I would like to bake with non smelling concentrates . I understand leafy weed has no odor but it’s not available in my area ! Preciate your time bro

If you are using the hack screen, no you do not have to use the magnet. Just flip the screen upside down to create distance from the heating element so you flower doesn't burn.
Hi Joe, No, with the hack screen there is no need to grind your bud and lose trichomes. Just pick off the buds from the stem and then throw it all into the machine on top of the screen. If you are not using the hack screen and you’re using the pod, then yes you should grind your bud but not too fine.
Hi Phil, the purpose of the screen is to act as filter so you don't get plant matter in your finished product. You use the screen so your flower can be free-floating an infuse as much as possible into your oil or butter for a more potent end product. You DO NOT USE the pod if you are using the screen. The pod that the machine comes with traps the trichomes which leads to a less potent end product.
I assume you’re talking about the decarbing or Activation process. A lot depends on the dryness of the flower when you start and how close your flower is the heat source. Make sure the screen is upside down before you start, so your flower is not touching the bottom of the reservoir. If your flower is very dry to start, you can lower the temp a bit to 135F and activate for 30 mins. Our potency increasing screens are a also a heavier gauge mesh to help prevent burning or scorching. One final note, it’s normal for your decarbed flower to look a bit toasted and brown.
@@shutupandlisten873 Once you’ve made the oil and know the potency, you can pretty much make any recipe that calls for oil with it. Just make sure you use the proper amount in your recipe based on your desired potency and cook or bake at 340F or less.
I really wish the tCheck didn’t take “3-4 weeks for processing” of and order and “Most orders are fulfilled and shipped within 1-2 weeks”…. I can’t wait to 1) use it on my own grow and 2) call out a few people claiming things they shouldn’t be… 😏
He has them on his site, but I think they might be sold out or on back order…. You can still use the 2-pod trick and just not pack the pods tightly so that whatever you are infusing can get into the middle areas more efficiently.

Awesome.... I have Lux Thx I need tchecker
Hey Jeff, how can I get the “potency increase screen”? Is it available to the public? Please help!!!!!! Thank you.
Hi Chencho , YES! :) The Potency Increasing Screen is back in stock on JeffThe420Chef.com/shop. Happy 420 Exploring!
How would you declare/infuse when adding concentrates like dabs?
Hi there
Does your screen work in the LEVO Lux?
Hi Jeff. Where did you get tCheck ? Love ❤️ your video

Hi Morgan, thank you, I really appreciate that! You can order the screen on my website JeffThe420Chef.com/shop

Newbie here as well, followed your cleaning process. Am I able to dry using the Levo? Or baking still required? Thanks for your videos!
Yes, you can dry and activate in the LEVO but the oven still works best in my opinion.
@@JeffThe420chef hello if it's possible to make a light tasting cannabutter....would it be possible to use the same process but make a tincture?

Back again lol. Activate option only allows me to decrease temp to 200f not 140f the ideal time suggested. I'm I on the wrong setting?
Yes, 240F is the ideal temp to Decarb/Activate.
The banner in the video says 140 F for 40 minutes but you just replied 240 F. Which one is correct? Thanks
How much herbs can I add with the potency hack
As much as you can comfortably fit in the reservoir with your oil or butter.
What's the purpose of the screen during the infusing process? Couldn't you just infuse without it?
The screen acts as a filter and prevents the flower from getting into your final product. You don't use the pod with the screen.
