- The first day of Elite practice at the 2023 UCI Mountain Bike World Series Downhill race took place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland today! The riders were already pushing themselves on the steep, technical track. The video opens with a rough crash of @GwinnerTube! We hope is ok and able to race.

I would literally carry my bike over that.
I watched at o.25x speed and it's interesting to see whose feet just stay where they were on approach, who lifts their feet out of the way, how much, etc. I kept waiting to see a derailleur or rotor get snuffed but then I remember how skilled these riders are, and probably the traction wasn't too bad on the entry either.
Always so good to see a new Vital raw clip up.

@Anthony Rogers As of right now I'm not watching live. Might see if sportsurge streams it but I doubt it. Still pissed about the buyout and no Rob Warner tbh. My buddy did say Discovery+ is only like $5 or $6 a month. GMBN is also streaming them on their subscription service, I'll have to check their price.

Thanks for all the fantastic content. I was being lazy and wondering how much extra time, money and effort it would be to add racer names on screen. Most I recognise based on helmet, jersey, bike, body position/style. But what I realised is that the less famous racers would benefit from the extra recognition the most.
