I find world cups a lot more interesting when it’s raining and the tracks loose and slippy, maybe that’s because I ride in wales mostly but it’s a lot more entertaining to watch

My take has always been that the bottom point of your wheels need to be "inside the tape". So on that pole, you can jump over the pole, but only the bottom bit below that lowest bit of tape. Most poles have the tape much higher up them, so sometimes you can jump a foot or two of pole - but crucially, only if you don't go past the tape with your tyres.

We lost the flat out 70kph left hander at Hafjell, and now we've lost the Lenzerheide rock garden. It's OK though, Lenzerheide always looks fun on the live feed.
They have taken the rock garden which was the best feature of that tracyk. As a fan, i was looking forward to watching these world cup riders disect that gnarly feature.

For the bunting wheel crossing rule.. In trials UCI comps, the bunting is not to be crossed. Not even to hang one wheel over. Not sure if the DH rules are the same.
