Hi everyone, I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did :-) Ive made the decision to put the 10 minutes extra tips out on Friday at 7pm as a separate video :-) Have a great week x
Oh Dawn - this was a sublime walk down memory lane! 😍😁 I adore your happy dances, and most especially the one with Nicola White. 🥰 I threw my arms wide and just roared with laughter. I remember that dig so well. 🤔🤣🤣 It's excellent that you have been richly rewarded for your efforts. Here's to at least another 8 years, if not more. See you next time. Loved seeing your top 10 finds! Congrats on finding all that cool stuff and for hunting 8 years! I've only been watching you for less than a year so happy to see those awesome finds!
WOW!!! 8yrs already how time flies when your having fun... It was July of 2015 when I got stuck in this bed and wheelchair... It was long before I just happen by your channel. I knew that my detecting days were put on hold. So I was looking on youtube for people who were into detecting. I found a whole lot of y'all out here so I seen you pretty smile and I was hooked. I just had to follow this young lady with the prettiest smile and a fun witty personality to go along with her smile. It was your smile that warms me heart. When I'm having a bad painful day like today. One of your videos always pops up and you seem to always make me feel a wee bit better by the end of your video... Thank you for sharing your gift of laughter with me... The bible says that laughter is good meds. Well I think I could of overdoses with laughter watching this video... My dearest young lady you sure do warm this old physically broken down saddle sore biker's heart. Thanks for my heavy dose of laughter today. I respectful love you myy dearest young lady. God dose use you to brighten my day... MUCH LOVE and prayers be blessed in Jesus name... BBE...
What a lovely comment Bobby, you have really warmed my heart today. Im sorry youre in pain all the time and unable to detect, that must be very hard for you. Knowing I can make you smile and keep you connected to metal detecting is a perfect reason on why I will be detecting on video for many years to come. Take care Bobby x

I must say Dawn it's been an absolute pleasure watching you for the last 8years or so it was nice to hear Kev's voice in some of the play backs too I really hope you continue to post for many more year's to come xxo😇😍

@@DiggerDawn can’t imagine how it feels to hold something as old as it is ..wonder who was the last person to hold it ..the mind boggles with the thought

Absolutely loved this video! Thank you and all your detectorist buddies for such fun and fabulous entertainment. I wish you were my neighbor. I’d never get any work done because I’d always be cutting up and laughing with you 😊!! Can’t wait to see where you and your friends will take us next time!
I remember .some of those finds of yours (vids). The NEXT great find ... is in the NEXT shovelful. Addicting sport & fun adventures... My dad got me started detecting MANY years ago, when BFO's (Best Frequency Oscillator) were pervasive, and then transmit/receive (TR) was the NEXT big thing. I became a distributer in the Chicago area for a company in Dallas area (very near to the one you'll be visiting, soon). I wasn't even 18 years old, yet. I just picked up the phone & called them. I did well with that company ($$), and had so much fun hunting with them, and demonstrating them. (Almost NOBODY had one, and only military types had ever SEEN one - the mine detectors, used during war). Great finds, Dawn, and treasured memories. All the very best, from Florida.
@@DiggerDawn I do, indeed, Dawn. I have a small room full of detectors & related gear. Mostly now, I search for historical or significant troves. I live on the east coast of Florida (Atlantic), and it's not called "The Treasure Coast" without reason. I thoroughly research most "vaunts into the wild" for months, even years...using libraries, online, contacts, gazette's, etc., prior to venturing out on them. We also have a unique history during the American Civil War, Native Americans, old forts, schools, missionary settlements, etc., dating to the 1500's or so. It seems the beaches are swamped all around the state following a hurricane...I've done some of those, as well. Congrats on your 8+ years, and wonderful finds. Quite significant !!! Well done. AND the first thing you buy in Texas is a wide-brimmed hat of choice, or the tops of your ears & ALL your face will sunburn badly....just an important tip. See you on your next vid. Be safe.

That was fun trippin' down memory lane Dawn. Nice finds. I think I've seen all those vids through the yrs. Good to see Sweep again - 'it's hammer time'. Laughing. I have to ask, have you got your Bronze Age axe head back yet? Take care from Canada.

What's your percentage with the land owners 50/50 or something else like chocolate coins. I had a metal detector for 4 years now for Christmas and I haven't used it yet. Sad really, it looks like great fun. Last year on the island they had a mass of detectorists over a few days and drove past it not knowing until the local paper so reported it. I didn't know any of this, and they organise these events, every year. Camper van's and tents galore, over them couple of days. I had your dig dig dig videos on my phone and I pressed the wrong button and wipe them off of my phone history. And just found your videos again. I seen some newer videos. Was that Nicola from the river Thames bank's videos . She once asked anyone about a metal spearhead or a top of a old iron garden fence maybe she had found in the river. I think, I said, I saw, something similar in a film with Donald Sutherland playing a four striped Sargent and he lead the men into battle, holding a staff with a spearhead on it. If you were a bit older, to join pans people, you got something and I love how you say "thing" with the extra vowels, only time I ever hear this, is apart from TV programmes. Please don't get offended, I drop a "R's, or two and my H's as well",. I was born London, South of the river of course. Keep doing the videos and I might one day go outside with my meter detector. It is some make what I don't know, just not the same as yours. It has a small round grey disc at the end and just a needle display Love mum
