My latest trip out to Old settlers in Round Rock was full of highs and lows. Still any time on the water is time well spent and you can learn something on every fishing adventure you take.

We just kayaked each day over the weekend at OSP. We’ve lived next to her for 17 years. No idea why it’s not used more like Lady Bird lake. Maybe we will set a trend. Such a great kayaking and fishing lake.

All that noise in the background (music/whistles) was where I was or I'd have been out there with ya. Glad that the rated r section was just a missed fish. I was thinking worse case scenario, expecting you to get hooked as you were reeling in/grabbing a fish. Glad to see nothing that bad. Wish I could have been out there. Out of town this weekend too, starting to go through fishing withdrawals lolol.

I'm glad it wasn't anything physically painful but it sure hurt emotionally. 🙂
