Thanks Jamie, both for the video and the book - now also translated into French, which is awesome. To us at Paradise Rescued, we see regenerative viticulture as the next step following organic. Our initial projects and micro improvements are already under way.
The other point that you touched on but often gets missed is that a permaculture with a continual abundance of plants sequestrates carbon out of the atmosphere. As opposed to continually turned over soil in which the microbes are destroyed by the heat of the sun and carbon is lost to the atmosphere. Viticulture (and agriculture) can certainly play an increasingly role in mitigating CO2 emissions.
Keep up the good work. Your inspiration has helped shape our 2030 #vision. Thank you.

Thank you Jamie for this great introduction to regenerative viticulture ! This is a very interesting topic and, at Domaine Lafage, we have been experimenting many of the approaches and tools you listed. We are looking forward to reading your book and learning more about this !

When I was researching for my video on RA, one big take away was that it was taking biodynamics but eliminating the voodoo and also combining the typical sustainable certs. I look forward to reading the book.

    1. Will you rotate cover crops?
    2. Based on which parameters do you choose your cover crop? The visit verity? The soil requirement / deficiencies? Both?
