Social security should not be broke. Unless the funds were used somewhere else. We have people who have paid in to it most of their lives and when they retirer they are told no you can't have it. I would like to know why not and were is that money?
Same reason fixed rate pension plans are no more. Fluctuation in a market is part of life, however guaranteeing any future income dependent on anything more than a zero risk liquid fund is simply impossible. You cannot continue to pay based on former contributions and gains earned, when they fluctuate greatly throughout 50 years. Coupled with thousands of fraudulent cases and a huge population spike. This adds to the number of claimants based on illnesses, disabilities, accidents etc etc. However youre now paying these claims from the fund with contributions from a much smaller population and even less people drawing from the fund. It simply outgrew any reasonable rate of return that would have allowed it to remain funded. Im a strong fiscal conservative but this is a program that we need to keep. If you live and work in this country for 30 years i think you've earned the right for things to be a bit easier, unfortunately not many people make enough money to have a stable comfortable retirement entirely on their own. You should get a little help if you've been a tax payer for 30 years and have most always been a full time employee or earning over the poverty level. Id like to see it as a government retirement account. You haven't been a repeat customer to every type of welfare program and worked for a living, you deserve some dignity. It also could encourage more fiscal responsibility. People that know you'll get 3k a month in 20 years might make get them to stop pretending they will always have more time to save, or they can't have a comfortable life cause of rich people or maybe fiscal conservativism makes sense for everyone and makes everyone life not only more comfortable but more their own responsibility

PENSACOLA, Fla. - A federal judge in Florida ruled Monday that President Barack Obama's entire health care overhaul law is unconstitutional, placing even noncontroversial provisions under a cloud in a broad challenge that seems certain to be resolved only by the Supreme Court. Faced with a major legal setback, the White House called the ruling by U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson - in a challenge to the law by 26 of the nation's 50 states - "a plain case of judicial overreaching."

. Approximately 193,000 Blue Shield policyholders in Calif. will see rate hikes averaging 30 to 35 percent. One in four customers will see a jump of more than 50 percent. So a family paying $600 each month could see their monthly premium hit nearly $1,000. The company says customers need to pay more because of rising hospital costs, doctor's bills and prescription drug prices. In a statement Blue Shield says the increases "have almost nothing to do with the federal health reform law."
The House ethics manual clearly states that "all Members, officers, and employees are prohibited from improperly using their official positions for personal gain" and members must disclose their holdings annually. But the House's official position is that demanding that members either divest themselves of potential conflicts or recuse themselves when there is a conflict is "impractical or unreasonable" . Florida Governor Rick Scott outlines his plans for mending the state's budget crisis by cutting the size of government and reducing business regulations. The key here is cutting regulations in a environment of reduced revenues. Gov Scott cites 78 permits for a piece of land near Naples. There are already regulations by the county and there is no need for further regulation by the state. We strongly support this move.

If you spend more money than you have, and print more money to buy back the bonds you issue to support printing more money, sooner or later the creditors are going to walk away unless you promise them everything they want. Who are our creditors, and what is our government giving away to them?
Gov. Scott Walker said the 14 minority Democrats who left Madison on Thursday were failing to do their jobs by "hiding out" in another state. And Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said his chamber would meet Tuesday to act on non-spending bills and confirm some of the governor's appointees even if the Democrats don't show up - a scenario that should outrage their constituents.
“Failing to raise the debt ceiling is not a desirable situation and would be disruptive, but the worst thing we can do is simply continue the irresponsible deficit spending that jeopardizes our economic future,” Toomey, who won his seat in November with support from the Tea Party movement, said in a statement on his measure. We endorse this measure. Only by bringing a firm stance will the spenders back down. In the month of January 2011 eleven banks failed.
Government admits for first time US currency is at risk The U.S. government, posted the largest monthly deficit ever in February.. The gap totaled $222.5 billion last month compared with a $220.9 billion shortfall in February 2010. The deficit is a long-term threat to the economy and the dollar, the world’s reserve currency.
The price of oil has gone to 112, gold to 1475. There is no support for these prices. The strategic Oil reserves should have been released but we have lousy leadership in the White House. When the shutdown takes effect oil consumption by the Defense Department should decrease. The commodity brokers want to take oil to 126 a barrel. With the federal reserve printing money and holding interest rates down all we can do is to wait for our chance to abolish the Feds.
Inflation, using the reporting methodologies in place before 1980, hit an annual rate of 9.6 percent in February. Since 1980, the Bureau of Labor Statistics has changed the way it calculates the CPI in order to account for the substitution of products, improvements in quality and other things. Backing out more methods implemented in 1990 by the BLS still puts inflation at a 5.5 percent rate and getting worse.
@RatFantom If you could put your hatred aside for a minute you would see that you have much in common with members of the Tea Party. Contrary to what you think, most Tea Party members are not in support of the GOP establishment. We are libertarians, republicans, independents, and democrats who have woken up to see how much our freedoms have eroded in the last decades under both republican and democrat rule. There is a reason that the Democrats lost big in the midterm elections. God Bless
President Barack Obama says a shutdown would devastate the economy at a time when job growth is struggling to reach a cruising altitude. What’s more, it would further reduce confidence in government. Guess what? It can’t go much lower. The approval rating for Congress dropped to 18 percent last month, near the lowest in the Gallup poll’s 37-year history of tracking the trend.
Watching this video today is the first time I've seen Marco Rubio. I've heard for awhile that he's a very talented and impressive politician. So finally now I'm checking him out. Yes, he is very impressive. You know who he strongly reminds me of? The "West Wing" politician character Matt Santos played by actor Jimmy Smits. Only of course Santos is fictional and a Democrat, and Rubio is for real and a Republican. But they both talk in much the same manner, and they both have great charisma.
But as prices for corn (Chicago Board of Trade: CCV1), wheat (Chicago Board of Trade: WCV1) and rice have surged, the Fed chairman has drawn the ire of many, including other countries' central bankers, for sparking out-of-control inflation. ...."Maybe the most unintended consequence of 'QE2' is the great wealth disparity it is creating," said Steve Cortes of Veracruz Research and a 'Fast Money' trader. "We are literally doing it on the backs of the poorest people in this country and the world."
here is something new. The washoe county of nevada has what it calls codes for animals. The leash must be 12 feet long or 14 feet long depending on who you talk to. If you visit the washoe county on 2825 longley lane, reno,nv the first thing to strike you is how elegant and lavish the facilities are. All the people there are salaried. There are no volunteers and all this is for dogs. I would estimate nobody there earns less than 10$ an hour. If you wanted to know where our tax dollars are going.
4) Stop all Legal immigration. We can't employ all the people we have here now. This does not include the 30 million illegal aliens here now that are taking away jobs from Americans and lowering wages at the same time. Put 50 million land mines on the border with German Shepards and barbed wire. 5) Stop all foreign Aid and start bringing home most all US troops stationed overseas. 6) We need a Marshall Plan America. We need to rebuild this nation literally. We need to look out for ourselves.
No need to raise the debt ceiling Thus far in fiscal 2011, according to the Daily Treasury Statement for July 6, federal tax revenues have been $1.622312 trillion while the combined expenditures for interest, plus Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Veterans Affairs and federal workers’ salaries and insurance have been 1.467127 trillion. That has left $155.185 billion in additional tax revenue to spend on other things. Payments to defense vendors are the cause of deficits.
Abolish the Federal Reserve In the near term we need to find a replacement for Bernanke. In the coming months it will become clear that Bernanke and Dudley and others are incompetent. But to restore balance we have to find someone with integrity, someone who will put the Federal Reserve balance sheets back to 2002 levels. Someone who will keep interest rates between 5 and 25%. In the longer term the Federal Reserve should be abolished.
the federal bailout of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be the most expensive government rescue -- it already stands at $153 billion and counting. The Federal Housing Finance Agency, has estimated that losses through 2013 will cost taxpayers another $68 billion to $210 billion on top of the money already used to prop-up the firms and the housing market. we support Toomeys stand to block any attempts to raise the debt ceiling and use the occasion to abolish Freddie Mac and Sallie Mae.
Health care Reform Lets not forget to appeal the ruling on Health Care Reform. All the taxes we pay goes into spending. Pipeline jobs are being held up in the northern states. California is using projections to continue spending to bypass prop 25. Only a token troop reduction has been passed. The FRB ran losses in 2010, a form of legalized counterfeiting. The 2012 election will be fought on the battlefield of job creation.
Abolish the AMT tax The US Treasury has an operating balance of 90 Billion as of July 21,2011. What this means is that there is no danger of a “default” come August 2, 2011, but there is a lot of drama being staged by the White House and the House. The news was that the govt would default in June, then July, then the "absolute drop dead date" in Aug. How could the government be so wrong in their estimates? Only if they were deliberately stoking the speculation. There is room to cut taxes.
The federal reserve plans a never ending spiral of treasury purchases. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke may keep reinvesting maturing debt into Treasuries to maintain record stimulus even after making good on a pledge to complete $600 billion in bond purchases by the end of June. At 5% yield on 2.6 trillion of assets the FRB accumulates approximately 130 billion in interest each year but it has no plans to give this money to the Treasury.
H.Con.Res 34 proposed by Paul ryan makes federal revenues assumptions that are the cause of deficit spending. It authorises spending on defense of 582 billion in 2012 and outlays of 593 billion, these outlays increasing each year. Compare this with H.R. 2015 which required zero deficits by 2002. Since 2002 defense spending has increased recklessly. We urge our readers to call their senators to oppose H.con.Res 34.
I have spoken with people who claim to support the Tea Party, but I don't think they know what it's all about. These so called supporters seem to have the attitude "I got mine" and have no concept of working together to help others get "theirs." True Americans have always worked together to overcome adversity, but the people I spoke with have an "every man for himself" attitude. To them, each man is an island.
@johnny0g Care about you? Why...do you need to be taken care of by the government? Since when does the government have to care about you? Unless you are elderly or disabled, you should be out there working and support yourself, and not depending on the government for your every whim.
FORMER PRESIDENT BUSH, SR. SAID, "WHO IS GROVER NORQUIST ANYWAY?" HE DISAPPROVED HOW THE REPUBLICAN CONGRESS HAS NOT WORKED TOGETHER WITH DEMOCRATS ON CONGRESS. THEY HAVE LOST SIGHT OF WHY THEY (CONGRESS) ARE IN OFFICE. THAT IS TO DO THE WORK OF THE PEOPLE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PEOPLE.
Support cuts in defense or they will take your social security and drive up oil prices The Treasury Department reported Tuesday that the deficit already totals $829.4 billion through the first six months of the budget year -- a figure that until 2009 would have been the biggest ever for an entire year. For March alone, the government ran a deficit of $188 billion.
Miracles work when the senate stands firm on the debt ceiling…now the Treasury can keep funding itself till August 2011. By taking “extraordinary measures,”the U.S. can keep borrowing until Aug. 2 after reaching its $14.29 trillion legal debt limit no later than May 16 unless Congress acts, Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner said. A round of applause is well deserved for the senators who held fast on the debt ceiling.
Abolish the AMT for those of you who havent done your tax return take a look at the AMT. Its become tremendous amount of paperwork but it results in a taxation rate of 26% for those making less than 40000 a year.
Not socially, economically. What mandate does the federal government have over social issues? I will say only in public places can it define what is acceptable behavior.(ie nudity ect, cultural norms)
taxpayer subsidies for the major Wall Street banks continue to this day. These subsidies, professor Johnson says, take the form of special access to the Fed's "discount window" and ongoing, unwritten "Too Big To Fail" guarantees that the US taxpayers will cover any major losses the banks incur--by bailing them out all over again. These subsidies allow the big banks to borrow money at a lower cost than their smaller competitors, and, thereby, win market share and produce higher profits.
Gates was appointed by George Bush and he is leaving. Another appointee of George Bush is Bernanke, but Bernanke continues in office. The Fed initiative called ST OMO made loans at rates as low as 0.01%. This information was buried in 29000 pages of data. The release of this information was fought all the way to the Supreme Court. Ferguson was fired by Bernanke. If you can contact Ferguson and lets hear what he has to say about Bernanke.
Israel to return to 1967 borders Obama is urging that a Palestinian state be based on 1967 borders. We endorse this stand. The US debt is a direct result of a never ending conflict between the Israeli’s and the people of the Middle East. We cant afford to continue subsidizing the bagels and the camels. The war with Germany, Japan, Vietnam all are resolved but in the middle east our arms and monies are creating a perpetual conflict.
Governor of Nevada's state of the state speech The population of Nevada has declined.....Nevada is now responsible for ..an extra $190 million toward ... Medicaid match. We also must begin paying the $66 million in interest on money Nevada has borrowed for unemployment benefits.....I firmly believe that many aspects of the law are unconstitutional, and I will continue to fight to have them overturned. In the meantime.... Medicaid, which may cost Nevadans $574 million between 2014 and 2019.
@jbhjxn I can't believe many of them support Sarah Palin. I am a conservative and I wouldn't vote for her or any neo-con. Its amazing she became governor.
Listen to all the liberals get their panties in a twist just by their remarks on this video. They can't face reality and know the writing is on the wall. ROMNEY / RUBIO 2012!!!!!!!!!!
I guarantee you … the annual cost of living increases are more than 5 percent, and the Bureau of Labor Statistics is lying,” Faber told CNBC at the Russia Forum in Moscow. “Mr Bernanke is a liar; inflation is much higher than what they publish. I would imagine for most households it’s between five and eight percent per annum in the United States and in Western European countries maybe a little bit lower but also around four and five percent per annum,” he said.
heres something to think about : the numbers at the Fed Reserve are in the trillions - a 13 digit number. if the reports are in 6 digits 7 digits would be rounded off.....only an audit would keep track of the money. The fed trades with a set of primary dealers. Suppose in a years time there are a 1000 transactions. if even one of those transactions is a loss and the fed prints money and collects interest and reports a net profit at the end of the year ...what really took place?
The next President of the United States? He is as consummate a politician as any. When he says he is not a politician like other politicians, you believe him, even though all he has ever been is a politician. The new exceptional credo - I have been hearing it alot in the current political climate. What does it mean? Can we all be exceptional. Isn't that like saying we are all uniquely special just like everyone else. Or is it a justification for the powers that be?
BAGHDAD | Thu Feb 17, 2011 10:44am EST where our tax dollars are going..... BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq's capital wants the United States to apologize and pay $1 billion for the damage done to the city not by bombs but by blast walls and Humvees since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.
name one person on FNC that said, directly to the tea partiers, to go out and protest. Fox news analysts dont tell people what to think, they share their opinions, and the opinions of analysts they have on the show. If you quit assuming fox is so ridiculous and watch the news and then the analysis programs, you'll understand that their not all wackjobs.
social security funds itself with payroll taxes , can be saved by raising the income limit from $106,000 to $180,000 very simple, fixes are simple ,making fixes takes telling the truth thats a lost art in washington and in the media
In all the hoopla I see on TV about occupy, I never get a clear explanation as to why they are there besides Wall St is bad, banks are bad. Why are they bad? How did they screw up? What are you marching for? All I here is sob stories like my dad lost his house; my whole family is unemployed... These issues have little to do with Wall St. The Government intervention and spending trillions of dollars on failed programs and bailouts are more to blame.
Mag den Tea Party Gedanken. „Da kommt wer in mein Land um Geschäfte zu machen? Ok. , ... % irgendwie immer noch.
@MarkFFHH Stop all legal immigration? Illegal people are one thing, but the person in this video's parents were immigrants. Pretty much everyone's descendants were immigrants. Mine were, yours probably were, too. Should someone from a county have no way of becoming a citizen here? That position is not acceptable and should not be.

Due to increased medicine, people are living longer and therefore get more checks than were mathematically planned for.

I'm a demo, I 'll vote for Rubio

would be interesting!!
Government admits for first time US currency is at risk
The U.S. government, posted the largest monthly deficit ever in February..
The gap totaled $222.5 billion last month compared with a $220.9 billion shortfall in February 2010. The deficit is a long-term threat to the economy and the dollar, the world’s reserve currency.
He's a good reader , but he might want to consider some, CLEAR👀👀 EYES best eye drops ever. , 🤣😄
God Bless
sure
President Barack Obama says a shutdown would devastate the economy at a time when job growth is struggling to reach a cruising altitude. What’s more, it would further reduce confidence in government.
Guess what? It can’t go much lower. The approval rating for Congress dropped to 18 percent last month, near the lowest in the Gallup poll’s 37-year history of tracking the trend.
They need to make a place called wonderland and throw the tea party there.
No need to raise the debt ceiling
Thus far in fiscal 2011, according to the Daily Treasury Statement for July 6, federal tax revenues have been $1.622312 trillion while the combined expenditures for interest, plus Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, Veterans Affairs and federal workers’ salaries and insurance have been 1.467127 trillion. That has left $155.185 billion in additional tax revenue to spend on other things. Payments to defense vendors are the cause of deficits.
Abolish the Federal Reserve
In the near term we need to find a replacement for Bernanke.
Health care Reform
Lets not forget to appeal the ruling on Health Care Reform.
Abolish the AMT tax
The US Treasury has an operating balance of 90 Billion as of July 21,2011.
Exxon-Mobil doesn't pay federal income tax. Does that piss you off?
The federal reserve plans a never ending spiral of treasury purchases. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke may keep reinvesting maturing debt into Treasuries to maintain record stimulus even after making good on a pledge to complete $600 billion in bond purchases by the end of June. At 5% yield on 2.6 trillion of assets the FRB accumulates approximately 130 billion in interest each year but it has no plans to give this money to the Treasury.
Romney - Rubio 2012. I do no want fascism is America.
Where is the tea party now?
Absorbed into gop, just like how progressives will be absorbed into dems, being their servant
They won. Trump was the culmination of the Tea Party's ideals.
@@siddharthsen7035 absorbed xD. Like a vacum cleaner
And yet nothing had been done since Pres Ronald Reagan
I have spoken with people who claim to support the Tea Party, but I don't think they know what it's all about. These so called supporters seem to have the attitude "I got mine" and have no concept of working together to help others get "theirs." True Americans have always worked together to overcome adversity, but the people I spoke with have an "every man for himself" attitude. To them, each man is an island.
@johnny0g Care about you? Why...do you need to be taken care of by the government? Since when does the government have to care about you? Unless you are elderly or disabled, you should be out there working and support yourself, and not depending on the government for your every whim.
@globalistssuckcock Here here, I applaud this and support this message.
It is the bell which took out all the people who flunked English at their High School (save those who went to universities).
@warrenroche The people I speak to want the lake to be private.
Support cuts in defense or they will take your social security and drive up oil prices
The Treasury Department reported Tuesday that the deficit already totals $829.4 billion through the first six months of the budget year -- a figure that until 2009 would have been the biggest ever for an entire year.
Abolish the AMT
for those of you who havent done your tax return take a look at the AMT. Its become tremendous amount of paperwork but it results in a taxation rate of 26% for those making less than 40000 a year.
Cool story. In the next chapter, a pigeon swims.
Talking in caps makes your point sound more legitimate.
Israel to return to 1967 borders
Obama is urging that a Palestinian state be based on 1967 borders.
Its actually the Kool-Aid party
9 years later..
Governor of Nevada's state of the state speech
The population of Nevada has declined.....Nevada is now responsible for ..an extra $190 million toward ...
Marco Rubio 2012!
@visceralguy that is so they have more money in their pockets!
What’s going on with his eyes?
How dare you compare Las Vegas to Wall Street
@jbhjxn I can't believe many of them support Sarah Palin. I am a conservative and I wouldn't vote for her or any neo-con. Its amazing she became governor.
Listen to all the liberals get their panties in a twist just by their remarks on this video.
They can't face reality and know the writing is on the wall.
ROMNEY / RUBIO 2012!!!!!!!!!!
HOY ES EL ULTIMO DIA A REGISTRAR A VOTAR. REGISTRAR IMMEDIAMENTE
@RatFantom what did I say that wasn't true?, when he does something in the future thats NAZI like or get caught up in a scandal, I'll be vindicated.
@Seraph7771000 He is an American...born and raised. Sorry to inform you.
Give me some examples of when fox told the tea party what to think
Tea party is about GOD holding our tree, please search or principles before you share with others they may be listening and belive what you write.
BAGHDAD | Thu Feb 17, 2011 10:44am EST
where our tax dollars are going.....
BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq's capital wants the United States to apologize and pay $1 billion for the damage done to the city not by bombs but by blast walls and Humvees since the U.S.-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.
smart man
"...which made America the most prosperous nation in the world..." in GDP Per Capita, only real measure of prosperity, Monaco. Guess why...
name one person on FNC that said, directly to the tea partiers, to go out and protest. Fox news analysts dont tell people what to think, they share their opinions, and the opinions of analysts they have on the show. If you quit assuming fox is so ridiculous and watch the news and then the analysis programs, you'll understand that their not all wackjobs.
watch the youtube video: "The Tea Party, Circa 1860"
social security funds itself with payroll taxes , can be saved by raising the income limit from $106,000 to $180,000 very simple, fixes are simple ,making fixes takes telling the truth thats a lost art in washington and in the media
This guy is not a member of the tea party. He's a greasy neocon.
@Saebeck32 Incorrect
@MarkFFHH
Yeah. We shouldn't tolerate people coming here illegally, but legally is just fine. That's how it's supposed to be done.
He sounds like Malcolm X.
Mag den Tea Party Gedanken. „Da kommt wer in mein Land um Geschäfte zu machen? Ok. , ... % irgendwie immer noch.
Da fack?
how about someone who is still on fox
@MarkFFHH
Stop all legal immigration? Illegal people are one thing, but the person in this video's parents were immigrants. Pretty much everyone's descendants were immigrants. Mine were, yours probably were, too. Should someone from a county have no way of becoming a citizen here? That position is not acceptable and should not be.
"don't wanna wana wannta"
So, they don't want to want to want to do...
