Glad to see the 14mm GM is working out, I've still to take first light with mine but that's the joy of perpetual twilight and what feels like perpetual cloud cover.

I live in Madeira for 33 years, and I have only been once to Fanal. That area, Fanal, Paúl da Serra, its known for all the cows. Its the only place in Madeira where they are actually loose.
Man I have no words to describe my emotions watching this video, that place is like heaven. Simply represents at best the essence of our hobby, the feelings of connection with the universe, the happiness and euphoria when we see a sky object as it was the first time we see it. Keep up to inspire Alyn 🙂👍🌌🔭

I bought a used Star Adventurer and now I'm just waiting for clear skies. Everything here around me is just one big blanket of clouds. Can't wait to try stuff out.

Those geared heads are great Alyn used mine for the first time this month and the fine adjustments you can make are great and quicker too compared with ballhead. My fave image is 10:57 superb work love the framing of that branch but to be honest they’re all stunning. I had a similar night at Lake Ninan three huge fireballs about six hours apart none captured as is the norm haha.

I mentioned, somewhere, a few weeks back that, following one of your vids in which you mention the Benro Geared tripod head, I'd made a purchase. Really happy with it, but would have been even happier if the gearing was such that finger adjustments were a little easier.
