I agree with amar sab’s point of view that foreign degrees do matters not only in chamber but also in any company’s legal department. Pansota sab, thank you for this show and I would request you to please make video on improving drafting skills.
A healthy and fruitful debate indeed. But as per the topic, foreign and local qualification all that matters is quality of the education system wherever you get it from, whether foreign degree or local degree. We have introduced LAT and Law GAT but the main or next focus must be on the quality of the local LLB degree (teaching methods, analytical skills, critical thinking, research skills, problem solving skills etc). And by the way great topic chosen Hats off to Sir Barrister Ahmed Pansota Sir Barrister Harris Azmat Sir Barrister Ammar Saeed
A healthy debate though I would have to disagree with Haris's statement that the field of law in Pakistan is merit based. The moderator rightly pointed out that judges usually know the foreign qualified lawyers (or their parents) and tend to grant relief more often than not. A degree, be it foreign or local, is only an eligibility criteria in the process of getting a license for practicing in courts. Amar Saeed correctly emphasized on the importance of discipline and hard work which is important in any field.
Kamal kr dia pansota shb......really a respectful person...

One of the vary critical Issue for local degree is that not properly conduct all Lectures
