I'm gonna get one for myself for Christmas I think, great review! As long as it doesn't sound muffled when I'm playing games and has good directional sound I'm happy
@@BaxTechYT by the way I subscribed, didn't realise you were quite a small channel, you're vids are great and to the point. Looking forward to seeing you grow!
I have these as well, and I love that the suspension makes them feel lighter on your head, but for me.... it doesnt quite tight enough. I must have high ears because most headsets barely fit on smallest setting. These are really good for $40 (what I also got them for in Jan 2022). Also the software helps to dial them in iirc.
I have had a pair of wireless Arctis 7s for probably over 3+ years now. Used it between my PS4 and PC constantly. It's a great pair of headphones and extremely comfortable. I am curious if the build quality on the Arctis 3s is less because I am surprised to hear the 3s are not too comfortable!
Honestly, the only issue with comfort I had was with that lack of inner padding! But other than that, they’re insanely good! Definitely gonna pick up some more Arctis headsets in the future
I wouldn't assume because of the similar design that the fit and feel is the same. I have the Arctis pro wireless on my main PC and have the 3s for when I am travelling with my laptop. Whilst aesthetically similar, the fit on the two designs are actually quite different - particularly how the clamping pressure is distributed.
Honestly a big fan of the steel series as a whole and even considering on getting some on the high end! The steel series arctis pro was an incredible wireless headset with great sound, minimal delay, and incredibly comfortable! Are you planning to ever try out any other steel series headsets?
With how good these are, I most definitely am! Probably not their wireless ones for a while because I can’t afford it🤣 but I got my eyes on the Nova 1’s for a future comparison video!
Ive gotten 2 pairs of these headphones and i only have a single complaint: there needs to be an exact replication of this headset, but wireless. Same weight, sound, feel, everything, just no cable.
Just bought 3 new headsets most expensive ones I've ever bought returned them all and just bought another pair of these because it's black Friday I love these so much
I want to buy this so bad but this is expensive in my country. After I finally save enough money, I found out they discontinued making it, which means the ones in the market are already used or probably a counterfeit.
i have arctis 3 they sound muffled or as if the sound is coming from outside extreme lack of bass they dont even sound crystal clear at all im starting to lean towards studio grade headset instead of generic gaming cause i had enough
Love the review. But have to say, I completely disagree about fabric braided cable. I found braided cables you can hear movement heavily when rubbing against your shirt. My razer kraken tournaments did it and it legit drove me nuts. I've never had that problem with a rubber cable ever. The lack of interior padding is why I'm going to pass on these. Have to agree there it's terrible without.
I could see that on some! I guess a lot of it depends on how the braided material is stitched. I'll have some more updated videos on these in the future, but the lack of inner padding isn't as much of a problem as I thought it would be
Ears don’t touch the inner walls unless you have big ears and no clue why you’d complain they don’t have cushion blocking the speakers lmao. That’s for the sound quality obviously.
My son loved these he passed away in September 😢 and now they were given to my grandson…he’s excited to use his uncles headset I watched how to hook them up to the Xbox one controller 🤷🏽♀️I have that cord you showed, but I’m confused how to pair them…please help ty

Hmm are you using this on pc or console? If PC, I would try using a different mic jack(if you’re plugging into your case or your MOBO), then try a different splitter, then try a USB sound card. If all of those fail, try switching the cable to a 3rd party aux cable instead of the one that came with the headset
I have the wired version of the Arctis 3, the mic isn't registered with the headphones part in settings, so I haven't been able ti use the mic part in a year. :(
