I wonder if anyone enjoys playing guitar as much as Tim Pierce. When he pulls off some effortless sounding, sweet run, the smile that he gives is just priceless!
I don't know why, but smiling or making other facial expressions breaks my concentration when playing lead.
Came to the comments to say exactly this.
Eddie Van Halen always was smiling and looked like he was having a blast.
agree! nothings 'sells' like genuine enthusiasm and joy.. part of the fun of watching TP vids!
You be smiling too if you didn’t have to work a 9-5 job you hate and we’re able to make a living playing music.
I’m sure Joe is a good dude, but HE should be posting that HE “got to jam” with you, Tim.
Matt, absolutely right..
Hear hear!
Yes!! Definitely...
Yeah, Tim is phenomenal, but ....... we are talking Joe Bonamassa. I mean, does that even need clarifying? Joe Bonamassa. JOE BONAMASSA. I love Tim and his channel, but still....
The format of these videos really works. You have finely honed these so that there is great information and some fun, nerdy guitar stuff too!
Such a pleasing sound. Beautiful.
God i love tim, his playing, his vibe. Absolutely love this channel
I just discovered that Tim Pierce played on Michael Jackson's "Give In To Me" from his album Dangerous. One of my all-time favorite Jackson songs, and by far the best from Dangerous, Tim Pierce played alongside Slash. I just keep getting more impressed by Tim. A true legend.
Yeah Tim..what an honor to play w Joe..and likewise honor for Joe..bet that was great!!
I love the way all of your notes are distinct but also flow right into each other. Masterful.
That sound is pristine...
I need to go home and play guitar now. Tim you are such a master of techniques. I grew up playing rhythm and in my older age I want to be more of a lead player. I will get there.
That's a beautiful axe Tim!
I recently tried 08's, and fell in love with them. Always been a 10's user, but now I am hooked on the lighter gauge!
That neck pickup tone is something else! And your tones are always great!
We (viewers) are overwhelmed on a daily basis by instructional guitar content on UA-cam. I find myself becoming numb to the value sometimes because I slip into “entertainment mode” rather than “student mode”. If we really learn from this video as students, there is no question we become better and more satisfied players. Thank you Tim!
Great observation! That's one of the things I love about Tim's channel -- he blends those two modes so effectively.
Thanks Tim, your content not only makes me smile, but inspires me to keep working hard to improve.
You and me Both !! ha ha seriously though thanks for the comment
Everyone already knows that you’re a pro…
But when you impart your knowledge…
That makes you a gentleman.
Very cool video.
Thank you.💪👍🥃🎸
Thank you so much for the kind words
@@timpierceguitar
Absolutely sir. 👍
I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed a guitar video more.
Whatever you did here…
I’d… in my very humble opinion suggest you do it often.
Great stuff.🎸
Beautiful phrasing and beautiful ES-335!
You just noodling along to a melody is so great to hear. As an older man, just recently learning to play. I can only dream of playing so well. Wish I had started sooner.
Enjoy the ride my friend!
No worries! You started. All the best to you.😊
Very classy playing in between front and back in the soundspace.
You’re looking at the most sublime face of Western Zen - Tim’s smiling sheer joy of Union with the Cosmic Guitarhead
You never fail to impress, with effortlessly joyful playing!
Thanks Tim 👍🏻
That double stop jam was amazing
What a treasure to own! Beautiful Guitar... Thanks for sharing your skills with us Tim Pierce!!!!
There are some really excellent tips in this video. Thank you, Tim!
I would visit this channel just to see the smile on your face when you play.
Nice guitar, Tim! Sounding great as always.
Thanks for listening
I love the way you play, everything sound so good!
Love your content and work, Tim!! UA-cam has become a much better place after discovering you and rick beatos channels. Cheers! Thanks so much for everything you share.
Youre playing amazes me every time, so melodic and harmonic and really quite perfick!
Love the opening riff… sounds great
I joined the master class last week after the 14 day trial because I couldn't stand the thought of NOT having access to Tim's wonderful content . Thank you Tim for having the foresight to capture and catalog your years of experience to share with us mere peasants. Lol 😆
Thanks so much for this comment!
Man those are some truly lovely tones you’re laying down there at the start. I could listen to that all day long!
Tim, you always make it seem so easy.........and often with a bit of practice........it actually becomes 'tolerable' to play!! Still love that view you have near your home with a seemingly 360-degree view at that point!! What a gifted scenic walk you guys have there!! I'm so envious!! Jim C.
Thanks for this Tim. Your channel is fab and all your tips are great. Most of all you’re an awesome player and I never get tired listening to you! 🎸🙏🏼🎸
You never cease to amaze sir, we are truly blessed to be able to witness inspiration like this at our fingertips…
Thank for sharing. You are always so informational and entertaining at the same time! So musical!
I’m not ashamed to say I have a man crush on Tim!
Working on theses right now. Thank you for the informative video 🎸. On my lunch break watching this 🙂.
Great lesson. Thank you!
I love the exposition you do outdoors. It's a great video format. Great stuff yet again tim!
Hey thanks for saying that ...I really like getting outdoors and breaking out of the small close nature of the usual spot... I'll keep it going thanks again
As always a great lesson and wonderful playing.
Love the finger-stylings :-) Thanks Tim!
I really enjoyed this! Thanks Tim!
I named my 81 335 R. I . , her name's Dottie . And then there was the nite playing in a little club in Boston years ago .The amp was up loud and I'm gettin it to feed back and I can feel the whole body resonating . Yea man .
The tone on that intro is...AMAZING! I'm not even 50 seconds in and already blown away!
I appreciate it thank you so much for the comment
Tim is a BEAST.
(in the best sense of the word.)
So beautiful, never played an instrument but I enjoy listening to you and watching your craftsmanship. Thank you.
Thank you very much!
You is probably one of best guitarists i ever heard ....no doubt
So tasteful playing. Love it.
That lick at 6:15 was so beautiful! Also love the sixths on the top two strings - they have a different sonic quality that I love vs. when you play them on the first and third.
Always a treat listening to and learning from you Tim. Amazing style, technique, knowledge and taste! Thank you!
What a spectacular sounding guitar. Thx for sharing.
Gorgeous playin Tim. Great tone and learnin.
Love your playing. Thanks!
Happy for ya Tim- she is a Beauty!
Very Happy with my brand new dragster shirt, greetings Tim 🧞🧞
Great melodic ideas with double stop, thats something i tend to lean on when i dont want use big cumbersome chords.
Excellent! Jazz community has used these I think all the way back to Django, Wes, Burrell, and the nice possibilities are still endless in rock, blues, and R&B as just a few examples.
Man you always blow my mind! Thanx
Loved this one, so beautiful.
that was a fantastic show, my first TP video!
Love watching someone who is good at what they do!
Tasty..... as always! Great throaty 335 sound.
Love those soulful 4's.
Hey Tim, its so fun to get a new guitar that you really love .I just got a double humbucker Tele Deluxe ,great sound. Thank you for this great lesson. Nobody works double stops like you. You remind me to combine 3rds 4ths 5ths and 6ths.
Great job!, nice git!, pleasure to watch...
Great playing!

Lovely groove tasty playing 👍
Love your style
I love me some 335 and a Hiwatt!!
Cool video
Thank you
Tim - awesome lesson, thanks. Love the outdoor clips. When a video inspires you to want to pick up yer guitar play, that is a good lesson!! I don't know how you manage so efficiently to work in that tight space, but I guess everything is at your fingertips!!
awesome and thank you!!
Just pleasantly awesome Tim. I always love the vids.
Thank you so much I appreciate it
Really great tone and playing Tim!
Look in the mirror, King of tone and playing!!
Great videos thanks
Amazing tone and thank you for the theory explanation!
Glad you liked it!
Groove-a-licious. Great guitar, great playing as always. 👏✌️
Wow amazing playing!
Fantastic playing as always :)
Always something new that adds to my playing…. 😎
Tim on a 335 always worth a watch !
Watching you play cures my depression
I enjoyed the vid thanks👍
Nice intro playing! ( I didn't want it to end)
I ever thought that I'm the only one prefering Double-Stops. None of my mates was into it. They gave me a chill by playing it either suspended or diminished... and add some "flavour" in the tone. Thanks for that video @tim !
Beautiful Tim!
Many thanks!
Tim is the best !
thanks Tim your such an inspiration
So nice of you
Great! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you liked it!
Sounds great!
I saw Joe in Fort Lauderdale a few years back and he was outstanding. I wish Tim toured because I think he is every bit as talented.
I like everything about your videos but what I like most is your enjoyment really comes across and that is infectious and inspiring. I am working my way up to the master class love what you're doing and thank you
Wow, thank you!
@@timpierceguitar give yourself a pat on the back don’t thank me😃 we appreciate you more than you will ever know. You are giving us tools to fly like we have always wanted. It is such an amazing feeling of freedom and accomplishment.
agree
I'm learning after all these years that the fingers are the best , then the pick itself has a dozen tones. Using the round part of the pick even has a different tone. Always discovering things even 50 years in
Love that 335..
The rhythm section is tight on this track, as well.😊
Amazing..!! 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
That guitar sounds good! I had early 70's 335 and was always jealous of the 60's 335's, they had a woody, even quacky tone that mine didn't. Nice lesson as always.
