I live in a small town in Sweden. We had this place here in the middle of 90's that had pinball machines. We played Theater of magick,Dracula and Who dunnit every day. But after a few years they close the place down. I found this game yesterday and couldn't belive my eyes when I started Theater of magick. It was like going back in time:-)Great memories came back. My addiction to play pin ball is back!!Great video!!
Came back to watch this series again. This was THE video series that got me hardcore into pinball, which in turn ended up changing my life in all honesty. Elvira and the Party Monsters is one of my all time favourite tables. It really caters to the zen mode of playing that rewards consistent, in-the-zone style playing. It's simple and compelling.

Ooh, great stuff! BTW I have finally seen some of the pinballs mentioned here in real life on a recent trip to Knoebels (an amusement 'resort' a few hours from my house). Unfortunately when I was there Theatre of Magic wasn't working. Which is a big shame as that table is just amazing. But I did actually get to PLAY Twilight Zone... and IRL it's a bit of a pushover IMO. I cannot remember the Pinball Arcade version being that easy to rack up a couple million points on in just my first go. I must say though that I am pretty out of practice on TPA so maybe I'll find a way to play more real soon.
Awesome vid, was cool to see where I would place the tables I have compared to you. Have to say, Creature from the Black Lagoon is my favourite. I might have to pick up the Attack from Mars table though.
Excellent job on the video, Crow. There's actually still a few tables I've yet to play from season 1, but I can't find much to argue with your list. Personally, I would put Taxi a little higher and maybe knock Gofers down a few, but overall my thoughts pretty much run to similar to yours.

I call you crazy for putting Big Shot this LOW on the list - despite tons of great tables competing with it. @@CrowContinuum Ya its unfortunate they didn't release more seasons on disc as they have lost the license to sell some of these tables I guess. I just recently discovered these games and love Seasons 1 and 2

My list would be different and thinking of doing my list on the PC version as I think that is the best for sound wise the PS4 versions sound is not very good since a lot of the pinball machines that are on Pinball Arcade I have at least played once and can tell if something is off on the video game side.
I just bought season 1 disc from amazon and if you dont update, tales of arabian nights is there for you to enjoy, only game im missing is adams family from the disc
@@CrowContinuum got some unusually good news though. i discovered my amazon underground The Pinball Arcade "Underground Edition" for mobile has most of the Williams and Bally tables with the Two Elvira tables included. although the app is no longer available for download anymore since it looks like the Underground Amazon games service ended in late 2016. however it's still saved on my personal amazon Cloud service which means my amazon account has unlimited access. from my tests it's only playable on Amazon tablets and mobile phones but still it exists in playable form in 2021 for someone who was unaware of the discontinued situation. I am in possession of a piece of digital gaming history that is no longer purchasable in an unexpected way and that's pretty gnarly.
I kinda enjoy playing the Harley Davidsson table even though Im not a fan of motorcycles and such >_< Something about the flow and going from city to city and collecting badges and stuff...maybe it caters to my Pokemon-playing child in me or something XD

@@CrowContinuum thx, i love this table, hope i can still play it someday
I just bought season 1 disc from amazon and if you dont update, tales of arabian nights is there for you to enjoy, only game im missing is adams family from the disc
#1 seems to be very overrated even irl. Where do I get the Elvira tables? They aren't available on Pinball FX3 or The Pinball Arcade.
@@CrowContinuum a lot has happened since I been away from the late 2000s digital pinball scene it seems.
I am in possession of a piece of digital gaming history that is no longer purchasable in an unexpected way and that's pretty gnarly.
how long have you ben doing this game frodder thing?
k
I Agree about Genie. The sound effects are just plain annoying, I obtained my highest score with the volume off.
Nice job on this video!
I kinda enjoy playing the Harley Davidsson table even though Im not a fan of motorcycles and such >_< Something about the flow and going from city to city and collecting badges and stuff...maybe it caters to my Pokemon-playing child in me or something XD
Best season by far - glad i could by it on disk today
2015? I was probably busy playing a certain Korean action rpg in it's full swing around there but I'm back into pinball arcade culture on e again now that I'm officially an old fart.
tales of the arrabian nights and thater of magic have the same disiner (John Popadew)
+NewEngland Wolf John Popadiuk also designed Cirqus Voltaire and STAR WARS EPISODE I which is the last Pin2000 table and the last from WMS (formerly Williams) before switching to the gaming business.
agd29ifi WELL DONE!
+NewEngland Wolf Thanks! FYI--WORLD CUP SOCCER (1994) is another table he designed.
agd29ifi of course
did you know that "RIPLY'S BELEAVE IT OR NOT!" was disined by pat lower who did Funhouse, Whirlwind, Monopoly, roller coaster tycoon, the Addams family twilight zone ErThShAkEr and Bonzi Run?

DUDE! Your could swap the place of #21 "Black Hole" with #15 "Big Shot"! What's wroong with you? Black Hole is very amazing ambiance table and Big Shot is very lame, hard to play, boring table. There's even much better tables with billiardo theme. And dudes in my vision "Tales of the Arabian Nights" is the best table at season 1 @@. That's great table like a story book and even there's a great light show and sound effects that which the makes table much more addictive to play.
What if Vladimir Putin appeared in Taxi?
thank very . . . !
We loved Funhouse so much, we wrote a song about it! Go hide in your basement, but I'll find you there! ua-cam.com/video/j8qT5eehq5U/v-deo.html
Gorgar over Elvira and The Party Monsters?!?
Theater of Magic and TOTAN at #12 and #11?!?
You're crazy!!!!!
I'm sorry, but Theater of Magic is hands down the best table ever made.
Indeed. lol
