Today I show you how to install the all new Night Shift LightMode kit on an AGV Pista GP RR. The Night Shift is an app-controlled RGB LED kit for helmets. I'm launching it on Kickstarter, July 10th. Save the date!

Combine it with the brake free tech somehow, that way you could use the motion of the bike to apply cool effects
Very excited for this. For someone who drives home from work at night, this product looks great and I think it will overall add to a safer ride home in the dark. Hopefully you can make a video on a sedici strada II. Great content 🤘🏼

I am beyond excited for this. I have always wanted to support you and your work because I think it is fantastic, but I couldn't justify the cost for the single strips. Not criticizing, just mentioning my own limits to budget. But this by caparison is a great price point for what you get. I've lost some weight skipping meals to be able to snag one but I did it and I'm beyond excited to get this. Thanks so much for your hard work, I hope you see nothing but success and am beyond excited for your life :)

just order your own strips and put them on, this dude is charging almost 4x the raw materials cost, with no real overhead.
@@tilled6695 the reason behind it is because he is the creator of light mode. You pay for what you get. I do not mind paying a good couple hundred dollars for a product that is backed up. By the designer himself. You buy crap you get crap

I don't have an easy way for others to make their own animations. This would be quite an expensive feature to add, so unlikely anytime soon. Sorry.
However, I am open to suggestions as to what kind of animations you guys want me to make. Let me know in the comments below.

Bought the Nightshift.. within 3 months it started peeling! Contacted them for warranty and they say they don’t cover physical damage! This thing is falling apart… this is a scam!!! You want to give me a coupon code to purchase replacement parts so the same thing happens again?? HELL TO THE NO!!!

I absolutely love this, I’m unsure if I can make it work on a Mach V commander, but that’s the plan. Also for a back pack and want to put one on my bike
It should fit on that helmet.

Cool system! What I personally would still like would be if it was modular. So you could customize the stripe. I have a Scorpion Exo-520 Air helmet with integrated sun visor. Since is unfortunately on the left side of the helmet the slide switch in the way. If you could then customize a part where the switch bypasses that would be mega!!!!

I'm not sure if anyone noticed it... but Night Shift comes with an app!! This means this guy other here aka Mr.Lightmode who plays the fool in his videos, design and built a whoooole new Lightmode kit from the scratch, and at the end he said... "I'm gonna create an app for it too, just because it's so easy to do!" DAAAAAMN Thomas!!! Your creations make me look too stupid lol. If I put NightShift on my helmet, am I gonna look cool and smart like you?! lol

Haha original plan was for the user to control colors and animations via button clicks. Then I realized this would be way too confusing for the average user. Had to invest in making an app.

Super hyped! Is there any chance you’ll have an option for black exterior strips? I know this would suppress a lot of the color but majority of helmets are black and I would prefer the black/black look when riding throughout the day.

i loved the el wire setup, this led is kewl as well cause who doesnt like RGB *_* my main complaint would be lack of customizability, what I mean you get one shape sticker and that's that :( EL wire setup made the helmets much more unique.
True, but nobody wanted to glue the EL wire to their helmets 😅.
Nice looking helmet lights. I am familiar with electro-lumenescent wire drivers. Does the battery driver case emit a high pitch whine? Is there any interference with bluetooth headsets, communicators, or wireless AV microphones with this kit? Thanks and hope to get one soon.

Can you add a trigger to the controller to recognize a double-click and cycle through your favorites animation? Or allow us to change the single click of the button to cycle through favorites instead of colors?
Miiiight be able to do the latter in a future update if requested often. So far you're the first, but we'll keep an ear out.

Do you have another model for open face helmets? Also, it would be nice if you add accelerometer to activate light pattern when braking or slowing down for safety reasons :-)

Not sure I follow. The designs in my previous videos are not LED tech. No app functionality for those old kits.
