i feel like destroy man in the first game is a great example of how nmh blends humor with dark and fucked up moments like yeah these guys are wacky and have wild personalitys but they are still sociopaths who will kill you at a moments notice his theme reflects this well
It's so fascinating how mechanical this sounds. I'd expect Destroyman to have like a superhero spoof theme. Maybe there's some vague meaning to the fact it doesn't sound heroic.

Anyone with more than half a brain can tell that he's a terrible person. Give this off-brand toy to an intelligent kid and they'll cry.
After getting into these games off of the soundtracks alone, i think i can say that masafumi takada is my favourite videogame composer He has a very distinct style and it sounds amazing.
