About 3,600 years ago, a massive volcanic eruption devastated the island of Santorini in the Aegean Sea near Greece and wiped out a highly advanced seafaring society of Minoans that lived on Santorini. That's the tale Plato is referring to 1,200 years thereafter that should become a myth.

I have this weird feeling and my deep believe is that mankind has been around a very long time and has been very advance a number of times then got wiped out and later in the future the same thing has repeated over and over ago endlessly. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we dug up parts of the Sahara Desert that there would be city buried under it. Funny thing is that is the where the Atlantis is according to legends and stories too.. There is a lot of ruins buried and deep under water that could be other civilizations too.

At this point it seems we know less and less about ancient advanced civilizations (If any) every time we try to dig into the past. It seems as if all that is left are layers of theories through generations, based on their biases.
Sea levels 10 to 20 thousand years ago were 10,000 meters lower, or roughly 33,000 foot lower. That's the depth I'd begin any search for Atlantis.
The eye of Sahara, to me looks like the caldera of a super volcanoe getting ready to pop within the next 10,000 years.
The 15th century Spanish map was probably a fictional work of a ship captain that fantasized philosophy and plato's writings.

And the Island of 'Atlantis' is Thira or Santorini in Greece across Crete. A. It Exploded as its a Volcano the so called "KALDERA" and created the Agean Sea , also there is the Techtonic Plates of Europe Asia Africa there. 1620 BC. Any of these civilaisations were not considered "Greeks" by Platos time (400BC) ..... like the Minoans (3500 BC - 1100 BC), the Mycenaeans (1750 BC - 1050 BC), and the Cycladic civilization (3100 BC - 1000 BC) that they were occuping the Area of the Agean sea. THAT SAID GREEKS WERE IN CONSTANT CIVIL WAR or WAR. Im certain a single Catapult or Crude Oil Napalm Bombs one of these "tribes" invented would have been considered "ATLANTIAN WEAPONS".

Eye of the Sahara WAS Atlantis!!!! The first King of Atlantis was named ATLAS. The ATLAS Mountains are just North of the Richat Structure. The area is rich in gold deposits. I am convinced!!!

Nothing, that’s what you know to be true, rumours, lies and a constant supply of daft theories about something that was told to Plato by his grandfather, who was told by Solon who was told about it by an Egyptian priest who mentioned that it existed 9000 years ago (and probably heard it from a bloke down the pub)

This production has no merit or idea of Atlantis; especially when it's depicted as one city -it was not. Atlantis was a civilization consisting of ten cities and a temple. Platos writing came from another person's narrative that came from someone else's description, so truly, it can only be used as a fictional story. Ten cities off the coast of: Cuba, Japan, Spain, south America west coast and recently found in the Mediterranean -there's more to be discovered. When Atlantis sank beneath the rushing waters (NOT the deluge), the survivors crossed over the great waters to find the barbarians of the desert dwelling in caves; the land of the children of Kehm. Those survivors were only from the city near the temple -the other cities had no survivors. Productions like this just keep the actual truth hidden from exposure, because the people of Atlantis were able to use the power of wisdom ,and they abused this great power, causing the civilization to be almost completely exterminated and the cities to be covered by the oceans. The power of wisdom has to do with dimensional travel, eternal life, shadow people, and Serpent-headed people -now you can understand why the truth is suppressed. I was quite hopeful when beginning the program but after the first few minutes but was disappointed and stopped
