Hey everyone, quick comment. I made this video before a mini vacation and ended up loving this device a lot more. Plan to do a second video on it in the future!
Hey! Quick comment, made this video before I went on a small vacation, and since then I've come to love this handheld. Fully plan on making a deeper video about it soon.
For me, Flip is so good fit. I mean, it feels like actual complete gaming console! But, I didn't buy it bc of some reasons: 1) It has same chip with RP3+, and I want something lile Odin 2 level of performance. 2) Screen. Size and Resolution. I would like a bigger(6") screen with FHD. 3) A lack of used space in the front, put front-speakers there, maybe add nav buttons for android. 4) Build quality could be better. If all this points will be fixed in 2nd Gen Flip it would be a Killer.
I've stopped watching other youtubers, because they don't mention USD. Thanks for still including then. You're the only one or maybe 1 more that I am watching these retro handheld reviews. Gets frustrating when people assume only Americans watch UA-cam.
This video makes so much sense to me... I've had zero need or want for a flip device... And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere I want this! I've got the Retroid Pocket 2S (in green like your video) so was great to see that make an appearance here for comparison reasons, but i'm seriously considering selling it and getting the flip instead! I'd love to know how the sliders fair on other PSP games, Virtua Tennis, Driver, Sega Rally - and also, could this device handle Killzone Liberation! Control wise, the RP2S is perfect, but i'm now wishing for that bigger screen that the flip has! But then i'm also thinking are we close to a newer version of this given its been out for a while now! So much to consider!
Love the color, but I can't get down with playing DS with one screen when that thing has all that empty space on the bottom. PSP is kind of weird to me too, I'm so used to playing PSP with the controls on the sides. Nice review!
Will It Play PS2 Or Nintendo Gamecube Where Can I Order This Handheld Will It Play On The TV If It Does How Witch HDMI Cable Can I Use To Connect To The TV Can You Send Me A Link To Order This
This device gets me wondering what a 4 or 5 inch 4:3 ratio vertical flip handheld would look and feel like haha love my rg353v, but this retroid flip really gets me thinking haha
analog shoulders are good for one game in particular super mario sunshine so they are kinda a need for me and l3r3 so i think im going with this for my streaming moonlight and retrogaming thx (when i can afford still pricey)
I bought one on the first day it was available, but to this day I am still having issues having the games run. Was hoping it was plug and play... I have all my roms in their respective folders and chose the emulator but, still having issues. :(

Could you do a video on how to set up the proper emulators please?
Clamshell gives you a big screen but small in the pocket. Best out and about, form factor.
Flip doesn't make great sense logically but somehow it works well. Glad to hear Retroid is standing behind their product, even for 2nd owners.
It's not always easy, but somehow, we make it work. -The Duggers
Quality customer service is a big selling point for me, good job Retroid. Looking forward to my Pocket 2S!
I got mine last Christmas and I love it!

For real. It's so annoying

I went through 3 DS lites that broke at the hinge. After that, no more clamshells. I own a 2DS, an RP3+, a 35xx a trimui now. No clamshells...

Love these mini reviews, great watch sir! Stubbzzz
Such a cool device! But I can't get over the gigantic empty space on the bottom. Put another screen there and commit to the DS! great vid 💚

Oo a vertical? Like a Razr? That'd be unique.

I like the specs but I can't stand the design. Clamshell for only one screen feels like a waste of space. Nice video though, as always.
Watching you run ds on retroarch (or try to). Any chance on a video of running ds on retroarch?
Good question, with melonds standalone having achievements and better support, I didn't even bother trying. I can.

May want to Google some guides to help you out or join the Discord.
