- (Level: ALL) Ever have any problem prying out eyeshadow pans for magnetic palette? I sho'nuff do- specially with my Inglot Freedom palettes. Those pans are hard to get out of the palette. I usually use my spatula, but that cause so many dings, scratches, holes in my shadows. So, I decided to be 'K'rafty and make a Pan Picker, and voilah! Issue solved! He're a video on how to make one. Its super easy, and fun to make, really! EnJoy!

1" X 1.25" Wood Tile - Lara's Craft (purchased at Michaels)

Koren, it was a great pleasure to meet you at IMATS London, I couldn't believe it, I got so nervous... you demonstrated you are a great person. I already thought so, by watching your videos, now I have confirmed it. Thank U for saying hello to my watchers, they were amazed to see you in my channel!
The idea you are showing is terribly practical. I don't have Inglot but I can see this is very useful and witty for the people who have that kind of palette, so nice of you to share the idea!!!
Great idea! Love that you actual made the magnet more interesting by using the wood to attach it too. I am going to make one and decorate it cute, maybe hearts, etc and give one to my niece, sisters and BFF for Valentines!
Thank you Koren for the cute idea!
Great idea and so simple! I also remember using the gloss as a child at elementary school. Brings back memories. Thanks for your great and inexpensive invention!
@Pigg0 aha! because the magnet will be sticking to coat of paint, which will then cause to crack and peel off later. This way, the paint is actually sealing the magnet's edges to the tile.
You can purhase acrylic glossy paint to paint it in just one step. Love this idea, thanks for sharing.
That is genius! I love all your ideas! If you want to get a little more fancy with the wood, you can sand it very very smooth before you paint it. It will give it a better surface for the paint.
The magnets on the corners of the frosted top can be used to lift out the pans. Place the magnet over the edge of the pan and it will lift right out easily w/o damage to shadow.
This is an excellent idea. I've been actually using a bobby pin for my Inglot pallettes. If you bend it out and take the little stopper off the edge so it's just a flat metal edge I can usually get them out without flaw. This is much easier though! :D
@maiyako yes, the magnets on those are weak, so if you have a stronger magnet yours will dominate, and will pick up those pans easily
That is a very good idea!!! It looks very, very helpful with those eyeshadows. And yes, ALOT of us have that same kind of trouble. YOU SHOULD PATENT IT,and sell them on your online store for those of us who are very bad at Crafting. ;0)
Hi, I've just found you and I love love your videos!
The Inglot shadows look sooo pretty, you've made me want to purchase a few : )
And now that I know your "insider" tips, it'll make things soooo much easier.
Thank you. You're a jewel.

Good God...thanks because I have like 5-40 palette Inglot shadows that need rearranging. I tried using the Inglot lid frontward, backward, and sideward to no avail. Oh wait, I maybe got two out. I can't wait to try this!!
you are one creative guy! Love watching your crafting videos! Thanks for this one. I'll keep it in mind if I ever decide on using Inglot.
you're so creative ! you always figure out how to solve any annoying problem !
I could totally use this with other eyeshadow palettes, too...thanks for the great idea!
You can also just tape a strong magnet to the end of a stick, put it to the corner of the pan, and it will lift right out.
at the end of this vid, where you pull out the eyeshadow with the magnet, I found myself saying 'wow'... yes.. It's like watching magic! You are really creative =D
you're like our very own tim gunn but in beauty with that make it work!
@makeupgrl24 never always work, and you have to keep doing it over and over before it picks up. I actually brought that up to Inglot.
Omg this is SUCH a great idea! I'm going to make one tomorrow! Thanks!!!
You can just use the magnet on the lid of the palette. Just slide it over the pan you want out and the magnet picks it up. One of the makeup artists at inglot told me to do that.
great idea , i always use a safety pin and i never have a problem getting the inglot pans out :)
this is a great idea! thank you so much for sharing!
I love your creativity!
Awecome craft and so happy to see you back!
I like your channel. Always learn something new and useful.
Thanks Koran, you're very clever. Love this idea.
Koren I love you. You are an absolute genius!!
Wonderful idea ! Glad to see you back. I love your videos.
I usually use the magnet at the corners of the cover with no problem, but your way is more creative :)
i'd love to be able to purchase one from your store!
Great idea!
Very practical and good looking as well!
Awsome idea.. I bought your brushes from Crown Brushes and I love them.. I was going tro save them for my pro kit but I caved and started using them on myself lol there amazing soft brushes..
loooove ur Kraft vids, u really are a very talented artist, not just makeup one:)
What a great idea Koren!!!
Excellent idea, Koren!!
Good idea! I don't know why they didn't put a small hole in the back of each pan compartment so you can just push them out.
@lput00 try that goo gone cleaner. It works wonders, it stinks alot but gets rid of sticky substances. Just be careful working with it around your eye shadows, use a q tip or something.
LOVE. LOVE. LOVE THIS!!!! So smart! You just saved my eyeshadows
This was so awesome Koren!
Fantastic!!!
Koren, you are genius! Love this idea! :)
YET AGAIN A AWESOME IDEA K LOVE IT KEEP EM COMING HUN TOODLES
at Inglot palette on the lid has a magnet which is used to draw a shadow from the palette
What a great idea..You are so clever...
Great idea but I just use the magnet that's on the lids of the freedom palette to take the shadows out!
This is an awesome tip!! Thanks for sharing Koren!! :)
This is such a great idea!
This was such a good idea. Great!, Great, Great! Thanks
Cool! Im guessing another alternative would be buying a rubber stamper (?) removing the rubber stamp part (lol) and stick the magnet on. That could be the lazy or un crafty way :b
Great tip thanks Koren!
So clever and easy! I hope you have
a patent pending
You are brilliant!! Missed your vids!
Great idea thanks! Those eyeshadows can b hard to come out
Your sooo amazing! Always so inventive!
Luv it. Missed seeing you.
@EnKoreMakeup Great to know, can't wait to make one. :D Thank you!

That's so creative. Thumbs up
such a good idea !! lov it ... ur so crafty lol thanks !!
wowww i also get the same problem with my round pans even .... thanks for the video dear bro
Another great idea thanks for sharing
You could totally avoid extra steps and simply use a stamp that is already made and peel off the rubber side then replace with a magnet. Or, if you're lazy, just put a magnet on top. Only glue needed (and paint if desired).
OMG! love this idea! thank you!
Awesome idea!
i actually made something similar when I first picked up my inglot palette several years ago. great minds think alike... :)
Great Idea You are soooooo creative.....
Yea...less damaging...this is a great idea.
such a great idea :) thank you for sharing it!
Koren, you're awesome!
Hey Koren!! Love your channel and all the crafty stuff you do :) I get so many good ideas from you.
I had no idea about PPA I am so beyond happy you told us about it. I actually want to cover my paper palettes (such as TheBalm Shady Lady palettes since they are cardboard) with a protective coating. Do you think that PPA would be good for that and not make the palette paper bubble up and become wrinkly?
I would love your advice on this :)
Enkore use the inglot magnetic top to get the eyeshadows out.
Wow. . . you are amazing! Thank you so much! Perfect!!! ♥
thats awesome, love it
That would be great, Thanks!!
Very innovative!
Incredible!

So annoying how the people at Inglot don't understand why we can't pick the pans up. It's a manufacture error in thR lid. Thx for this project be ause I'm tired of damaging my Inglot palettes 😄
such a good idea!!!
Thanks a bunch!
Brilliant!
love the background ;)
This is great:))
Where have you been???
I don't eve use the inglot palette but I like art and crafts and I think you should sell these:).
Take your time. I have two-10 pallets and 1 5 pallets and it works on all of them. If you want to see a demo, let me know and I'll do a quick tutorial on my channel.
great idea, you can sell them. make pretty ones with girly colors and decorations and print your signature on them. they will sell
