Idea of You - Dave Matthews Band

My version of Idea of You is played in raised b tuning, capo 3, which makes it high D G C F A D tuning. I’ve worked on it for quite awhile, and this is about as close as I can get to the 12-string Gryphon Veillette sound with just six strings.
IOY has 138 plays all time, and 6 already this year, which makes it a likely candidate to make an appearance throughout the summer.
As you can see, Dave is very busy throughout the song. If you’re interested in playing this one yourself, DaveTabs dot com has the best available tabs - capo 10 for a standard tuned guitar will get you pretty close without restringing your guitar like I do.
