My first cougar! | 2022 Hunting Idaho

It was a difficult and exciting day. Out hunting deer and come across a sleepy cougar in the road. I had my chance and I took it. The crazy thing about this who situation was that where the cougar was in reference to the main road was only a couple hundred yards and there was an active logging operation so there was constant traffic. Not sure why this female decide to nap here but it was obviously a poor choice.

Yes they are delicious play taste like lean pork the meat has a very similar texture as pork

Oh yes, like @johnmahoney7876 said, it's very similar to pork. Slight difference in taste but smells the exact same when you're cooking it.

300WM, was bear and deer hunting not expecting a cougar at 75 yards. Used what I had because it was a little to far for my M&P40.
