man all these legends are getting older and older. i remember growing up in the 2000’s wearing my tony hawk apparel and watching jackass with my dad and sister after my mom went to bed. love these people.
Born in 96, my first console was n64 with thps1 in 2000, copped thug 1 in 2004, picked up a skateboard in 2008 and still skating till this day. The rest is history.
This is good shit. The co-host knows his place and interjects to maintain the flow when needed and backs out when not needed. Big ups to the whole team that put this together. This is some quality shit. I look forward to many more!
Hey, Steve O! If memory serves me right, you had a sober anniversary the other day, soo.. *HAPPY SOBRIETY, STEVE O!!* You're my inspiration, man. Got a few years myself.

The rise and demise of Steve o literally changed my life . I was such a hard core junkie and I saw Steve os plight and how he overcame it and it inspired me ... thanks steve

This makes me feel old. I grew up on jackass. When I was 14 my friends started a UA-cam channel for doing shitty knock off stunts. I bought a camera and learned to edit so I could be involved. It never went anywhere but eventually I went to college for video production because it really was something I loved doing.
That's awesome lol me and my cousin used to go around pranking random people in the neighborhood when we were kids because of jackass. One dude got super pissed at us for scaring him with an air horn
I saw Tony Hawk at camp jeep the last year they were doing it. I remember Shaun white was there too. I got Tony's autograph. He was skating with alot of people and I watched him another guy swap boards mid air. It was amazing
Thank you Steve O for everything over the years. Thank you Tony Hawk for everything you’ve done for skateboarding. You two have been true inspirations in my life and that’s unforgettable.
Tony Hawk is the man. I’m almost 44 years old and I just recently started back skating since the early nineties after I discovered a skate park that was just built in Laurel, MS and completed because of the help of the Tony Hawk foundation. I see the community of more young skaters starting out than I could have imagined in this area, and to learn of Tony’s contribution, a lot of ppl don’t even know or personally realize how he’s enriched the lives of people and has done for the sport of skateboarding.

Steve-O you’re the best man. A kind soul that got bogged down for a bit that gives any addict hope. God bless and I can’t wait for more of these. Yeeeah dude.
Steve-o you’re legit af and I can’t wait for more keep this going forsure I’m gonna watch every one that appears on my phone and tv, thank you for being you it means a lot brotha 🤙🏻🤟🏻🙏🏻
Steven my friend, you are a wonderful influence. An influence that is, in itself, a double edged sword. As a youngster I always thought, "If these jackasses can make it, then surely I can." As an older, a lot more sober fella than I used to be; banged up and brusied from antics which it could be said took mild influence from yours, I find infinite comfort in witnessing you drop into the comfort of the beautiful life you earned through hard work and utter craziness. After seeing you go way below and beyond any issues I faced with drugs or ego, with the added spice of fame and to return to my radar as this truly pure presence, infinitely more down to earth than the vast majority of the boring maniacs that make up the so called A-list, making shit just look like a list. It also brings me great joy, as well as hope, to see the ultimate rebel go full circle and craft his environment, to allow him to live the life he always truly wanted, whether he was ever aware or not. A life that, simply from mild insight, is clearly meant to be lived. Thanks man
So glad your doing this! Steve, do you even realize the impact YOU have had. I really hope you do. Your the best man. I'm a recovering addict myself. Just turned 43 and still think I'm 17. I sk8 as much as my body allows, but when I see something like this, I have hope. It's inspiring. Thank you so much. 👏👏👏🙏✌🇺🇸
I came from the era where you guys formed me as a kid. I truly am grateful to have you all as entertainment back then. Showed what goofing around with friends is supposed to look like, genuine and organic. Tony hawks the goat and one of the chillest, Steve O your just all around good dude and great entertainer. Keep up the good work and good vibes 👍🤙
When I was 13 and old enough to detassle corn for four weeks to earn the money to buy a pro deck. I got the Stevie Caballero dragon deck with indy trucks and cant remember what the wheels were. I was big pimpin with the crew.😁
Haha nice, I remember that deck. My first was the the Rob Roskopp monster eye. Ordered off California Skate Express. My second was a Christian Hosoi. Man, I wish I still had them.
I am SO GLAD someone is finally mentioning CTE and skateboarding. My heart sank when you said Tony got tested, thank fuck he doesn't have the gene. I was fully unaware that there was a test available to help determine if it is possible that an individual is more susceptible. I skated for around 10 years and over the course I've had around 10 concussions, 3 of which were gnarly enough to worry me. I've noticed, (and I dont want to say cognitive decline, but there might not be a better term for it), cognitive decline. My motor skills are not what they were and my memory is kind of dogshit at this point. I've been off my board for a few years at this point just because as much as I LOVE skateboarding, it's not worth my mental health, and I couldn't put my family through having to take care of me if I seriously messed myself up. I'm just very happy to see not only a professional skater, but someone as legendary as Tony speaking about CTE. You only ever hear about football players and I feel like in 10 years we will be seeing the effects in pros. THANK YOU GUYS!
Dude, you are NOT a doctor, and the brain is the most complex system in the universe + the fact thhat you are using your brain to ascess if your brain is damaged or not makes your assessment EXTRA invalid xD if you are concerned, get in touch with a neurologist. im sure there are some basic cognitive tests that they can run to see if you are below or above normal for your age, and if more further investigation is needed. Stress is bad for you and those around you, and you are stressing over this, so just for the sake of chilling out its worth the effort of making an appointment^^
@@immasurvivor this reply to this comment was really soothing for me and ive been stressing over completely different issues for myself, i just wanted to say thanks for being so level-headed
Totally rad man, I enjoyed it so much, had to have a quick spread on the board then finish listening to the end part. Thanks Tony Hawk for all his time and energy throughout the years I'm 40 now and just got back into skateboarding since like 15-20 years ago. Cheers everyone
I hope tony sees this I want to know if you remember skating with my uncle back in the day he said y’all skated a lot he also skated with Macdonald his name was Troy Adams. He could have been something huge just like you but got messed up on other things and threw it away.
I remember a half pipe was build in a back yard of my neighborhood I also remember the day a massive sign went up about skate at your own risk ect and from then on the owners bairly let anyone up on it.
I remember listening to this and the Always Sunny podcasts when they first debuted at this time during the pandemic. My life literally flipped on it's head at the same exact time but these podcasts are whats been driving me. The only thing to persist past that time period.
I’ve been a huge fan of Steve-O my whole life! just want to say I appreciate how you literally put everything you have into something when your set on it. And your sobriety documentaries really give people real hope that they can change, other celebs wouldn’t be as real about it as you’ve been so cheers to you my man. Thank you for the years of entertainment 🤙🏻
Dude Steve o I’ve been waiting for this podcast for so long now! I’m so pumped that it’s actually going down now!!!!!!! I love the van concept. This is going to be my new favorite podcast along with joe Rogan. Stick with this man it’s gonna be really big dude! I love the multiple camera angles, and the van looks so nice 👍 super clean setup. Damn. I havent felt normal in so long. Well not normal but understood. At 25 ive been fighting the monkey on my back for 12 years and to see somebody find the courage to crawl out of that hole is amazing. Thank you for serving as a good role model for someone who was just about to end it
Hey Steve-O, if you are reading the comments, I have a small suggestion. Please add some kind of separation between the normal content and the ads. When listening to the podcast without the video, it's really confusing. This was a wonderful start to what I hope will be a continued success. Tony was an awesome guest.
As many of you know, I've been talking about starting a podcast for ages. Well, it took this long, but I'm so excited to finally be doing it, and I can't thank you guys enough for your support. Thank you!!!

I grew up in your fun Era, the skateboarding was always something we did, Thanks for the laughs and memories
Steve you are the man. Love your inspiring stories and your sobriety journey. Bring your show to Grand Rapids, MI. We have a lot of grateful alcoholics out this way
Here’s a challenge: make an Oscar worthy documentary that still fully encapsulates who Steve-O is.
There is, the demise and rise of steve o
@@AZZA5102 yeah but that doesn't cover what he's done in the last 5 or 6 year's
Steve-O you’re the best man. A kind soul that got bogged down for a bit that gives any addict hope. God bless and I can’t wait for more of these. Yeeeah dude.
I loved loved loved this!! Speaks to my age, era and all the things skated , regretted and learned. Thanks dude. 👍🏻

This is super dope Steve-o, cant wait to see who you have on the wild ride next! Also cant wait for Jackass 4.
Wonder if Eric Andre would be down with this crew. That being said, something is telling me yes.
Awesome podcast Steve-O! Can’t wait for more episodes so I can SMASH that like button 👍
Smash it crazy style
Thanks man
My first english Podcast I can't stop listening ... Steve-O good to see you're in a good shape.
would love to see you and mike tyson compairing your careers
they already have a podcast together on Tysons channel
I would like to see Steve-O & Mike Tyson Comparing dick size! Same thing.
Trading cocaine stores
These 2 are litterally 17 yr olds in 40 year old bodies
shit more like 50
@ArjenRobben Mr.Wembley crimson dawn has been instructed to watch your life very carefully.
@ArjenRobben Mr.Wembley you speak being on your period huh
ArjenRobben Mr.Wembley dude you’re so pathetic lmao
witness the plague that afflicts America
I chose bmx and freestyle over skating but always had tons of respect for the board guys. Tony Hawk is the king! Great first guest!
Love Tony and Steve o Tony such a understanding down to earth guy a walking legend
This is gonna be one wild podcast! Glad you started one
I don't know how I got here but man, I really like hearing your stories and seeing the real you. Keep on. Great content.
Dude, I loved you since I was in elementary school. You were always an inspiration to me, for better or worse lol. Keep it up!
Dude... I will never get tired of listening to your stories Steve-o keep at it man 👍👍
I came from the era where you guys formed me as a kid.
Tony "I cracked my skull."
Steve "so that was a pretty heavy concussion, huh?"
Totally rad man, I enjoyed it so much, had to have a quick spread on the board then finish listening to the end part. Thanks Tony Hawk for all his time and energy throughout the years
I'm 40 now and just got back into skateboarding since like 15-20 years ago. Cheers everyone
This remains one of my favorites...they both are such solid individuals and seem to always vibe really well.
I love listening to these podcasts in the car. Makes for a great drive. Much love Steve-o :) P.S your book was rad :)
I’m rooting for you brotha 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘👍🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
When you look at the camera focused on Steve, the camera follows his movement. It's so trippy.
You're right. I think it's internal stabilizer just on that camera
Steve-o’s most hurtful words “you were never even that rad!”
Damn. I havent felt normal in so long. Well not normal but understood. At 25 ive been fighting the monkey on my back for 12 years and to see somebody find the courage to crawl out of that hole is amazing. Thank you for serving as a good role model for someone who was just about to end it
Much love guys. . . . The worst thing is having a loved family member asking who you are xxx
Love it man!!! this is going to be the best podcast in like no time!!! it will be you and Rogan!
Hey Steve-O, if you are reading the comments, I have a small suggestion. Please add some kind of separation between the normal content and the ads. When listening to the podcast without the video, it's really confusing.
This was a wonderful start to what I hope will be a continued success. Tony was an awesome guest.
LMAO i didnt realize this was posted today, and i looked and i saw march 19 and holy shit keepin the flow goin with the content
Tony is so chill and cool, man. What a legend.
tony hawk! what a guy! i'm a garbage skateboarder, but i love the videogames! spent entire years just playing those games. legend!
