Gay men and women of his generation had huge struggles that shaped the way they had to reason as they fought for freedom . Understanding where he came from in a sociological and economic way gives us insight into why he is able to speak as he does . His sexuality is a part of that and he has publicly talked on this issue .

As as American, I quite love the trouncing that Prof. Starkey gave Laurie Penny.
