This game looks like what people describe gaming as, this literally looks like a massive adventure with a ton of little secrets, possible the first real game like it
I don't think this game is ever going to be released and most likely will be cancelled. It was supposed to be realeased in 2020, and then in 2024 now for 2025, as history would tell us games like this would be cancelled, still it does look very ambitious
I don't think it will be cancelled. Companies like Ubisoft can do that, but Pearl abyss is still a young studio and can't allow themselves to cancel a 6-7 years project without any return.
No reason for it to be canceled, the probable reason they're repeatedly delaying the release of the game is because they're trying to perfect the mechanics and gameplay. And i believe this game wont be canceled because from the dev documentaries i've watched on their channel it honestly seems like the devs are pouring all their passion and sweat and hardwork into this game.

I don't mind when a game is delayed.. but after multiple delays you have to start to worry that is it because the game is being polished? This exactly. Looking at recent history and how the majority of incredible and gigantic games just have been even less than underwhelming I’m worried that this game too just looks to good to be real. I hope it’s incredible but I’m prepared for it to be just another giant promise that just can’t fulfill the things it wanted to be

the graphics are not without artifacts, excessive special effects, polygons, etc., etc. If anything, she's mediocre. I would advise you to read some books to boost your imagination.
I hold out hope that this does release, and PA deliver on everything they have promised. I do have a feeling you will need a higher end PC to play it tho, and mine is only in the lower-mid range. But damn i really want this to release

If dragons dogma and uncharted had a threesome with elden ring. I’m all for it and it doesn’t too too visually taxing either. I think this could really be a thing.
Combat looks great, but the creature designs need another pass. I'm concerned scope creep may have got the better of it. It's trying to do ALOT. Can only wait and see.
The only problem.i have with the looks of the game the metal looks more like tin they need to update the texture of the iron and steel looks terrible atm and letting down the visuals
I'm an enjoyer of mounted combat in games, and this game seems like it's going to deliver, no useless pageant ponies in pageant cardboard armour! Seems, I suppose horse archery's confirmed, but what about horse melee? Black Desert has complete mounted combat but it's exclusively multiplayer, so I'm hoping this won't disappoint!
This is going to be so much better than Dragon's Dogma 2. DD2 is fun, no doubt. But the world is incredible boring in terms of interactivity and how bland everything looks. It's like the same tired old architect from Cassirdys moved to this world and just rebuilt the same unpainted stone and the same old wood cuts t build the castles and houses. It's like the environmental artists from Fallout 3 thought they'd make a medieval brown setting. This looks far more like an actual setting where people live. DD2 has excellent combat though, so it is not without its merits. But the world just looks uninteresting. And the combat in Crimson Desert looks way better and less arcady. DD2 also has a lackluster story, at least from what I've played so far, so I hope this has a better story.
Can’t wait for Pearl Abyss to mess with the graphics, butcher and delete most of the soundtrack, re-record all the voice acting, and make it P2W just 2 years after release like Black Desert
the good thing about keeping this game a single player is that it wont have that terrible netcode/desync that black desert suffered from. BDO due to being an mmo i think suffered from having its story and quests rushed and done poorly, with CD being a story driven single player will give room to the devs and writers to make a neat and cohesive story, not to mention how good of a combat BDO had i really have a lot of faith in this one.
@@stp366 it's like they sell you on this idea .... Then when the release day happens and you buy it day one. It's 10% of what the showed in the trailer. The constant delays is often an indication of this.
I would think that but if you look at bdo most of the radiant things are there except for maybe a deep story the ac style climbing and gliding also what about it is a scam
