I'm like a groupie at this point .. But on a serious note it really feels good to see him in the squad and well rested. Here comes the business end of the season.
Well, as i'm a lifelong City fan, I sincerely hope you're right, but one thing is really worrying me this season .... history! NO club has EVER won the title four times running in the last 140-150 years, and i can't see history inviting us to either!
@@barryh.4220 City have been breaking records on so many levels over the last 6 or 7 years, I can see it happening. Two points behind Liverpool at this time of year. We've hunted them down with a larger defecit than that before now. The players probably see it as a challenge, and one they are more than capable of achieving.
@@barryh.4220nobody thought Bob Beamon ‘s fabulous 8.9 meter in 1968 Olympics Long Jump would or could even be broken …. And yet . Eventually all records die . I think by March , KDB will be at full capacity . March has the crucial games . Have faith
@@sproutandkidneysoup2296 It's funny you should mention Liverpool mate. ...... a couple of months back they prevented us equalling Sunderlands impressive record for home wins, which has stood for the past 131 years! What happened? We were a goal up at the Etihad with about 20 mins left to play, and even though Liverpool had barely threatened in the 2nd half, suddenly Trent Alexander pops up to score his first goal of the season to equalise! Yet, our home form had been superb up until that day, so you tell me ..... was that fate, or was it history protecting Sunderlands old record, and maybe forever???
Props to the reporter for asking about Jeremy Doku's return at 1:00. Everybody is just talking about Haaland and KDB and rarely about Doku. Put some RESPECT on Doku's name for goodness sake.
I must say that beanyman does the greatest job. What he does I can not see anywhere else..... Great beany... You are the man.... every year he's there for us....
I just pray that Guardiola will win the Treble again for Manchester City. Even better, he can celebrate this big triumph at Wembley again, just as he did with Barcelona in 2011.
@SUPPS2GO And there's the big trial regarding the 115 FFP breaches. Sure, he will leave if the club get punished at the end, depending on the progress of this trial.
Has somebody made a spreadsheet of Man City conversion rate on corners yet? I can't even recall the last time a City player headed the ball from a corner let alone scored a goal. Imagine having Haaland, Dias, Akanji, Stones, Walker, Rodri, Gvardiol who are all tall and not a single chance and also the 5 previous years nothing. The only player that has any idea what's going on in corners is Ake, he knows how to make runs and create problems from set pieces. Has to be one of the lowest conversion rates from corners of all time and they are rivaling teams that are way shorter on average.
No, as you might know pep likes to hold the ball, what can easily happen is that the opposite team gets the ball and launch a counter-attack, that wouldn't be nice...
I honestly don't know why they talk so much about Haaland, when with him as number 9 we have lost several games, where he missed a lot of clear scoring chances, and since Alvarez has been number 9, City has not lost any game and has score almost at every game, even being the figure of the Club World Cup, today Alvarez is clearly in a better moment than Erling. Of course, when the team is searching to win a game from the air pass, Erling is the best option. But if it is not necessary, Julian Alvarez is clearly far superior to the Norwegian. But in Kevin's case it is different, because he is excellent at reading the game and passing between the lines, he gives a greater advantage to the team.
Congratulations for starting the new year with the most stupid comment ever. Jealousy is shining through. He has been out for almost a month. People want to know when he is back. Cry me a river. Haaland is the most lethal striker/goalscorer in the world and has been since he was around 20. His stats show it. Football is about winning games and that means scoring goals. With him City lost a lot of games you say? Are you stupid too? City has lost 3 games this season. I wonder how many games City has won because of Haalands goals and they should have won even more because of his goals if it wasnt for stupid defending mistakes. When he has been injured City hardly won against bottom teams like Everton, Luton and Sheffield United and couldnt beat Crystal Palace without Haaland. To even say its because of Haaland City lose games, shows you have no clue. The reason Haaland scores less this season so far (he is still top scorer in the league btw even though he has been out a month) is because his teammates arent able to play him through, like DeBruyne can. Haaland and DeBruyne understand eachother. KDB always knows where Haaland will run and Haaland knows where KDb will play the ball. The other City players cant do the same and rather they play the ball sideways or backwards instead of forward when Haaland has made one of his numeerous of runs each game and has open room. Thats the reason Haaland hasnt scored as much as last season…yet!, it has nothing to do with him. Let put it this way, when Haaland doesnt play you clearly see lots of missed chances which Haaland would have scored on. Alvarez doesnt bring the same treath in the box and he isnt the best link up player, also he is very slow to see his teammates runs and play the ball forward. We have seen it when Haaland plays and we saw it several times the last game when he should have played Bobb instead he slowed down and played sideways. De Bruyne is the only one besides Foden (and Bobb) who are able to make a quick pass in the room for Haaland. The reason Haaland misses some chances is because he creates a lot more chances than any other striker by his movements. If he’d score on every chance (which no one does) he would have had 100 goals a season. Alvarez fan boys are totally clueless. Alvarez isnt the best #9. What he does almost every time is shoot and he misses a lot. He runs a lot and is good pressing, but he has a much easier environment than Haaland to work in. He doesnt constantly have 2 defenders on him. I doubt Alvarez has bruises all over his body like Haaland has after every game because of the opponents defenders use foul tricks on him. The last month when Haaland hasnt played, they havent played particularly good and hasnt created a lot of chances. When Haaland and De Bruyne is back, we will see more of the type of goals from last season. Its tiresome to see Alvarez fanboys (and Messi fans too) always use the world cup as some kind of holy grail to judge how good they have played and continue to use it as a masurement for how good they are. Someone even suggested Alvarez should have gotten the Ballon dor last season, whoch is laughable 😂 Haaland scored 52 goals in 51 games last season, Alvarez 17 goals. This season Haaland has 14 league goals in 15 games,1295 min played (19 goals in total in 22 games played In comparison Alvarez who has played every game has only 6 goals in 19 league games. Most goals Alvarez has scored is when Haaland plays and the reason why is because Haaland always have 2-3 defenders around him and creates room for others, so that players like Alvarez has free space to run in. Haaland doesnt have that «luxury». Defenders are much more afraid of him, so they put 2-3 players around him. To even say City is better without Haaland is hysterical and pathetic.
@@shubhankursharma3323 Also with Alvarez, is not so different, Alvarez is better player than Haaland, there is no discussion, the only situation where it is preferable to play with Erling is when it's necessary to play by throwing aerial passes.
@@Xequio yeah you're absolutely right. Erling is more clinical but Julian also is capable of filling if haaland's out. But in big games, erling will prove to be better focal point and we can go direct to him also when we're in defensive phase.
No objectivity in football again but bias! Little wonder clubs struggle even when they spend! Alavarez is ahead of Haaland! Just because he doesn't look like a beast. Alvarez totally made us forget Haaland. Haaland' conversion rate is very poor! Even with KDB. Once Haaland leaves CITY, we shall see his records once again! Mbappe was scoring too so no big deal. Who should be missed? Utility players like bernado, Rodri, Alvarez, KDB. Haaland can never be missed with his poor conversion rate now in CITY. Give Kane those balls and see
