This woman has the best curl tutorial period. The cheap easy to find curl rods work woth all hair and the sock and thickness and prevents tangles. The technique is the simplest I've seen. Folks we have a winner.

Yeah this is probably easier to do when your hair has some texture from the products.
Yeah that used to bother me too, but I’ve come to accept you have to at least blow dry your hair first, however the curls the next day are so amazing, and they last at least 2 days.

The white plastic ends of these rods can get caught badly in your hair if your hair is longer than 20 inches. The sock is a brilliant idea to avoid this.

@@Beautyfix_rnok so I tried it. It was pretty good, I may try a little different technique because I ended up with a crease in my hair but honestly still for what it is I was very surprised how it turned out!

I tried 3 times now, they just will not stay in! The front ends up on my forehead and the second section falls right out when I take my bonnet off. I do make the bonnet tucked in as well 😢

Help!!! When I do the back section, if falls down because the hair from the back of my head is stretched to the top and the part not rolled is long so it falls back down if that makes sense. I’ve tried rolling it as tight as possible but it doesn’t stay on top of my head???

This method almost works for me My hair is fine and I’m having issues separating the curls without them getting frizzy and loosing curl someone please help any advice?

Do you think this technique would work with thick hair and only two rods? I don't see how a third could comfortably fit on the head for sleep.
You guys just now figuring this out. Doing for as long as I can remember. I hair trains very easy. Lots of volume w just a blow dry.

Yh I think it’s a gd alternative however, I think rather than blow dry the curl I should use an acc curler cz it holds better, as today the blowout didn’t really stay even tho I used hairspray.

Haha I tried to do it but let me tell you, my hair did not look like this 😂 plus that first section ended up on my forehead and the back section was completely unrolled when I woke up 😂😅
Yeh, mine fell out during the night, but I didn't cover with a silk cap (dont have one). I think I might try it wet next time.
@@love-light369try using long socks with a super elastic band and basically turn the extra sock over the rod with curled hair on it. I did this and NOTHING budged. I think it’s better than the bonnet

There are sometimes when I do it too tight or in certain spots. I may have to redo it to make sure it’s not too tight

What about the fly aways in the front? That’s my biggest issue? They get frizzy when you sleep on them.
Oh hmmmm mine don’t get too bad but maybe in the morning use some sort of styling cream? I love the one minute transformation styling cream from COLORWOW

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this but for women with really thin hair? I've attempted to use those curlers before and they were too heavy and painful.
They also make satin wrapped pillow flexible rods! Maybe those would be better? And I would say just one medium size roller per section so it’s not as heavy
You mentioned your hair is dry; but did you let it air dry or blow dry?
So I have naturally wavy frizzy hair. So I wash once a week, blow it out, and then do this method at night during the week 🙃

I did not. Totally dry! I’ve seen others lightly dampen their hair before and it helps them get better curls. I leave them in overnight! So like 9p to 6:30a

I bought these curlers and placed in the socks but they would NOT stay in my hair for anything. I just gave up, and certainly not for lack of trying. I tried and tried and tried.
