@@t_train3796 I assume that Maria (same with the other ASMRtists that use a lot of props) has a storage room for everything she uses for videos. It might even be this room where she films, but hidden behind the camera. It's kind of the equivalent to the beauty room of a beauty UA-camr with a large makeup collection.

So frickin clever the way you changed the focus onto the E when you asked us to concentrate on it. It's those tiny details that make you the absolute best!
I've actually been looking for an eye exam or cranial nerve exam video for a while that did this because I think it is such a great idea.
Funny enough for me this is the type of stuff that un-relaxes me. Because I can't for the life of me decide, exactly, how she did this. It seems clear she was using auto focus previous to that, as you can see it adjusting focus as she moved around. Then all of a sudden "boom" perfect (and locked) focus on the E. Perhaps her auto focus has a name: Daryl? =D
@@aberg12012 well you can manually focus. Maybe she's changing the focus as she goes and is just that good!

@@aberg12012 her hand goes to the side of the “screen” which is the lens of her camera. I’m assuming she has a switch there, since her hand moves. These switches often have at least three settings: shallow, auto (which detects a middle ground object), or deep. She was in auto (it occasionally fuzzes as she moves closer or further and switches automatically to deep), and she manually switches to deep (you can’t see her up close, but can see the E).
She changes back at the next section, because she and the background become fuzzy, meaning the auto mode was trying to find the middle ground.
Maria: "You're here for your orbital exam..."

*I want to be in this appointment for real! They really need to start making asmr doctor and dental offices. I’m sure WAY more people would be inclined to go, ESPECIALLY if Maria were the doctor*
This is true however sadly most medical and dental practices are super busy and this relaxed atmosphere is hard to recreate when you’ve got a bunch of things to treat.

Until today, I never knew there was a name for the unusually relaxing sensations I get from watching Bob Ross videos or listening to certain people whisper, smack their lips, or chew gum. ASMR is fascinating and how videos like yours trigger it is cool. It's almost like a kind of drug that makes me incredibly relaxed and sometimes feel like I'm in a daze or trance. I have a very calming eye doctor and I get tingles when he says “now 1, or 2” since he has such a relaxing voice!
Absolutely nailed the lens test! I always got a kick when I'd go in for my eye prescription and the doctor would compare lenses, often in a soft spoken voice 😊 Great work Maria!
The lens test is my OG ASMR experience. I was always so excited when we went to the optometrist :)
@@ljm792 same! that's where i discovered i had asmr but i didn't know others experienced it too and i wouldn't find out about the official term until 20+ years later. at the time i don't even think it had a name yet. so glad i am not alone so that i get content like this! i don't have vision insurance so haven't had a real eye appt in like 7 years

All of us failed at this test since we can't have "stereo vision" when the camera lens is only one eye. 😂 However, all of the visual triggers here are SOOO good, and paired with those slow whispers made this super relaxing. Thank you!

Когда мой сын был маленький, я укладывала его спать самостоятельно-придуманным способом (в то время не было интернета , и про АСМР я ничего не знала ) : я закутывала его в одеяло, ложилась рядышком и шепотом рассказывала сказку "Маша и медведи", причем на шипящие и свистящие звуки делала акцент.... Ни разу сын не дослушал сказку до конца, потому что засыпал моментально ! 😁

The fact that she made the 1 or 2/ with it without section the longest part, proves that she knows what the people want. Usually people make that portion 2-3 minutes long even though I think that’s what most people are looking for in these themed videos. Usually end up having to rewind that section over and over again.

I’m one of those people, I had been on SSRI’S for 25 years from childhood trauma, I was never been able to get off. Started listening to ASMR specifically Maria and Emma and I’m am off the meds.. it’s absolutely amazing 🤩
