Brake light bulb 2012-2013 Kia Soul

I used your video to teach my daughter how to change the brake light on her 2013 Kia Soul. Same exact light position, and my 16 year old daughter is also named Hannah. Thank you for this video, I bought the light bulbs for my break and been lights and they were charging me about $250 because they said it will take 2 hours to change between my sister and me it took us 30 minutes to change the break lights, the plates lights and the front lights.

What to do if the tail lights seems to be functioning properly, but the brake lights are not working? I am reading that its probably the brake light switch. Any videos for how to fix that?

Hopefully you found your answer but the brake lights use the second filament in the bulb while the running lights use the first only. It’s possible to burn out just the second filament and the running lights still work. You just replace the bulbs or you can switch the top and bottom ones since they are the same and the top ones never use the second filament and shouldn’t be burnt out.
