How to change 2013 Kia Soul brake light

On this episode of Crazy Will Tech Show, I show you how to change the 2013 kia soul brake light. Now I'm no mechanic but I can change a lightbulb. On cars it can be little tricky. Not hard just tricky. This 2013 Kia Soul is my wife’s car and I was driving behind her and saw her light’s were on but when she was Braking, the Driver side brake light was not lighting up. So, I thought I would take this opportunity to show others how to replace this brake light. So let me show you step by step on how to replace the 2013 Kia Soul brake light.

It's my understanding you don't want to touch the bulb with your bare fingers, something to do with the oil on your hands can make the bulb crack when it's lit. Just what I've always heard. Thank you for the video. Going to change my daughter's friend's brake light, and I never would've figured out I had to take the whole thing off like that.

Yes that what I was always told, more with the halogen then regular bulbs. Glad I could help.

Changed my bulbs and the one I thought was burned out. It was not turning on. Any other recommendations I can do to diagnose?

Only thing I can think of is check the fuses and to see if the socket is corroded where the lightbulb goes.

Great video. My Kia tail brake light works fine but when headlights are on only one turn on other won't... Is that light bulb prob?

Front lights… how old is it?

i replaced the bulb on the top and it is still out - should i be looking at fuses or wires? only the top half on both is burnt out

Hard to say, but I would check the fuses first.
