that 1st fish you lost was in the ten lb range
there was a 11 lb bass taken out of the top lake thee back first of march ... I have way more luck in the bottom lake...
"Lined 'um" 3:05.
I wish I had some positive input, but I've never tried to catch carp on a fly.
I've always heard it's a challenge.
Really like your epic fiberglass rod.
I've got some vintage Fenwick's that I use on a regular basis.
Good effort . Everyday angler
You'll get um
Oh yeah epic is definitely cream of the crop of glass. I've fished alot of glass and this 8WT is hard to beat.
Stick with it brother, I actually got 1 on a small floating Rapala by shaking the rod tip so it just vibrated it smashed it, heck of a fight! I bet it would be awesome on the fly!!
Started fishing grass carp a few weeks back and lost a few and have yet to catch one. Looking forward to the first one.
Yeah I was planning on getting out there again today but we just got a bunch of rain.
@@theeverydayangler I’m in Florida where you at? I actually hooked one but line either broke or maybe my knot was weak but either way battle was over quickly, feeling positive though
👍🏼 try making a fly out of white sponge maybe they think it’s bread 🍞 people feed them all the time ✌🏼
Yeah I need to. There was guys out there bait fishing using bread and fruity pebbles for them. If I get desperate enough I'll start shimming for them lol
You certainly are persistent.
