The thing i like the most about Momoko as the 3rd member is that she is so passionate for it. Every time i saw her on stage with the girls she seemed to be having so much fun like living her best life. Because from the beginning she really liked babymetal, back in sakura gakuin days when she asked what club is she want to join and she said: Babymetal. In addition, Momoko has also said that in the future she wants to be a backup dancer for some famous artists, which was come truw when she became an Avenger, and luckily now she is selected as an official member which is more than her expectations. So i can imagine how grateful she is for that, as we can see now on the tour she seemed so happy and enjoying every second of it.
momo seems to have the same energy as moametal, which seems to balance out the dancing a bit more, as much as yui was beloved, she had a tendancy to lag a bit, so having a high energy balance seems to have fit with the new sound of babymetal better, plus momo is adorable as heck, shes got that same joy in her eyes as my wife did when we first started dating that "i cant believe this is happening" look, showed the video to my ife and she said the same thing, my wife said "yeah, thats the face of someone who doesnt believe they got this far in life, but just rolls with it regardless"

Momoko did it during the period when Babymetal were on hiatus. Momoko's dad is a well known Japanese comedian, so she seems to have inherited some of his comic timing. Years ago, when she was in SG, she was asked which club she would like to join, and she said that she wanted to join the heavy music club (Babymetal), even though they hadn't been an official part of SG for several of years by that point. She also said that her ambition was to travel the world as a back up dancer for a major artist, and she has achieved both at the tender age of 20. Momo is an absolute ray of sunshine, so she balances Moa perfectly. At Clear Night, she was just beaming for the entire show. She speaks English pretty well because she spent a year studying in New Zealand between when she left SG and when she became an Avenger for Babymetal.
Su remarked in an interview that bringing her into the band seems to have roused Moa's maternal instincts cause she fusses over Momo a lot, checking that she's okay and stuff. :)
Definitely! But now that Momoko is a full member, it's time that reactors also start reacting to the 2016-2018 Nendo tests. And all other tests too, of course.
I think the best two words that describe Momoko best are: Dedication and Perseverance. Sakura Gakuin in my opinion was a great nurturing environment for young girls wishing to enter the entertainment world. I have seen many videos of SG and I think you will enjoy them. You will also (I believe) discover what a treasure teacher Mori Sensei was/is.
I saw a comment somewhere just before she was announced as the 3rd member that she was the perfect one for Yui's spot, and under it was a video of them doing Karate (the part where Su yells "Everybody jump!") and the other two are jumping but she's still dancing. Then under it was "For reference:" and a video of Yui doing the very same thing at the same time. Cracked me up.
The Mole clip is from the nendo test, as all the hints to her low positioning in ranks! Doing Nendo tests starting from the first one and going up to Momoko and then Kano would be awesome! 1 per week could be awesome! YOu would also see the Delorean reference for SU :D
Momoko is amazing! Always smiles and gives so much positive energy!! Always very funny aswell!! She definitely deserve the third spot!! So happy we got our MomoMetal now! Kitsune Up! 🦊
The Planet 999 was a fiasco. It was a Korean survivor show to pick a new Kpop idol Group. She was thrown in with girls who just didn't do the work and they were out in the 1st round. Insane that she was gone that early. As to Babymetal she stayed with them right up to the covid shutdown. Doing all the Budakon concerts. I was thrilled when it was announced she is now the 3rd member. Su and Moa must have had a change in heart, because they earlier didn't want a Yui replacement. So I thank Su and Moa for accepting Momoko, now Momometal, into Babymetal.
It's what the band needed at this point. PMC magazine had an interview with them in August where Su stressed that she and Moa were the ones who made the decision to take Momo in as a member, it wasn't something that got decided for them from higher ups.

Now speaking of Momoko in Sakura Gakuin, the differences between her and Su/Moa in SG make me laugh. Su and Moa didn't have the best grades, but they clearly stood out and they were even both selected as council president in their senior year, while Momoko wasn't even selected as vice president in her senior year (She was selected Ganbare President and that says a lot about her fun personality). Momoko is really very funny and cute. I love the energy and that new vibe that she brings to BABYMETAL and I love seeing the girls enjoying what they do on stage.

That show aired around middle of 2021 (just months after Momoko's appearance in the 10 BUDOKAN SHOWS as an Avenger) It's actually surprising since a lot didn't expect her joining that program. But she got eliminated early (in Episode 5, the first elimination) and went back to Japan afterwards (during that time Babymetal was also "sealed"/in hiatus) I once thought that she already left the Avenger role like the other girls (Riho & Kano) because she got into an another project. But luckily and thankfully, she came back with Babymetal in their comeback shows in January 2023, and became a member this April in their Pia Arena shows! :)

I don't think that was very good editing on part of whoever made that video. It cut out context of scenes and hopped around on the videos it drew from, leaving parts out. Like the entire kazoo scene, that was missing parts that made it even funnier. Momo's father is a comedian, so that is where she gets her personality.
I'm looking forward to the Sakura Gakuin series! I will just recommend a great song by SG, video title: "Sakura Gakuin AoharuHakusho [official music video]" uploaded on a channel named "SG LOVE 🎶" It was released in 2020, two years after Momoko graduated.
Kano is in @onefive and Riho has a solo career, Just look up: riho sayashi official on UA-cam you should be able to find her channel. Singing, dancing, new songs, etc.
BM had to replace Yui permanently as being a duo was just so forced. Momoko is the natural replacement given her hard work and relationship with Moa and Su. She is definitely enthusiastic, but I'm not that excited by her dancing and we have yet to hear her voice as part of BM really well. I hope that they give Momoko and Moa some songs to sing together like they did with BBM so we can hear their voices more prominently in the mix.

The main thing I don’t like about this person’s videos is how fast they’re edited. Moments are rarely allowed to breathe.
That's very true, however, it makes me want to seek out the full versions of them all even more.
