- Momoko is here to have fun and be entertaining and if that means doing badly on a fake test then so be it. Not to mention ranking low on nendo tests is a Babymetal tradition.
So I was bored and wanted to make a video, but after attempting to turn milliseconds of Babymetal footage into a video, I opted to instead make a short lil Momoko compilation! Just some moments of her being her joyful self; also hopefully, if people aren't already aware, more will be about the fact that she's going on a survival show. SO VOTE FOR MOMOKO ON GIRLS PLANET 999!!! It starts Friday, 6 August!
Riho is releasing music today too, so while Su and Moa rest, support the avengers and all of their endeavors!!!!

Yes! She was officially announced at the fox day show in Japan- alongside su and moa, she was announced as "scream and dance, momometal." Then babymetal's official insta posted a pic of all 3 and captioned it as "Babymetal, su-metal (vocal dance), moametal (scream dance), momometal (scream dance)." And finally they did babymetal death at the next show in Japan and momoko was added in! Momometal death!

I hear that!! She was amazing as an Avenger. Her tears of Joy at the Forum were incredibly moving. She was a such reliable performer for Babymetal, and it was clear she had bonded with Su and Moa. She totally earned the title Angel of Joy. I had hoped that she would be would a permanent third member (if she wanted), but I'm happy for her if this is what she wants. Hopefully it will lead to big things for her.

i think maybe they're trying to build a fanbase for Momoko before making her the 3/3 officially? I mean, Babymetal fans already love her so much, but the Avengers for themselves don't have as much popularity as Su and Moa (and for that same reason there wasn't any problem on switching avengers) but my guess is that, if Momoko (the most liked of the avengers as far as i've seen??) is going to be,,, promoted, for saying it in some way, it would be better for her to gain popularity, even outside the fandom so either people won't try to come at her telling she doesn't have real fans (hopefully that doesn't happen), or to promote babymetal without actually promoting babymetal lol
but yeah, if Momoko actually wants to do other projects, we'll support her
@@galaxy4354 I guess OTFGK. 🙂 now that Babymetal will be sealed away, or whatever it was, it makes me less inclined to believe Momoko is gone for good. I'm not really understanding what this K pop project is about but it sounds temporary?? Like she could come back in some way when the seal is broken.
@@jeffschreifels8651 The final group in Girls Planet 999 will be temporary. They'll have the ability to promote with their current or soon to be current groups at their individual companies throughout the show's group's lifespan.

Momoko Okazaki has talent, she's funny, and just enjoys performing whatever she is supposed to do. And her English isn't bad, either. I would love to see the day when she introduces herself as Momokometal, I would like to see that happen.🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊

Koba _has_ to understand at this point that most fans have come to love Momoko (she's extremely lovable).
Sure, her personality is the polar opposite of Yui's and she's probably a little taller than Su thus throwing off the "twin fairies" dynamic with Moa that Yui, Riho, & Kano had, but Momoko has earned it.

No really, when your stage presence and joy is contagious enough to not just get the audience going BUT YOUR STAGE PARTNERS TOO (who, btw, had almost 10 years of a headstart in that group each so maybe it's not that easy to have them just go with your energy like this) you know she's doing an amazing job!!!

The BM show is actually about four weeks after her 20th birthday (it's March 3rd), but yes Moko-banger please -- we haven't heard Momoko sing since GP999 and haven't heard her _really_ sing since she left Sakura Gakuin in 2018.

Well, honestly with Babymetal being tucked away after their tour, I understand why she may want to do this. I mean it is a temporary group, if she does end up debuting.
Plus she never got to truly showcase her skills with babymetal, seeing as amuse never let the avengers sing. It's a shame she didn't make it far but hopefully she is able to continue to pursue her dream :(

I think she wasn't suited to being a K-Pop idol, in Babymetal she instead demonstrated how devastating she can be... it's not just about dance technique or physical appearance, everyone excels in the field for which Nature has decided to bless you! Bolt is the fastest man in history (for now), but in other sports he sucked!!!!

I honestly think the pandemic had a lot to do with the delay in officially adding Momoko as a member. They couldn't do any big spectacle shows while Japan was in lockdown -- they _barely_ got away with their 10th anniversary shows, and only with severe restrictions. Then the Olympics sort of happened (plus Momoko went to Korea for GP999). THEN Moa needed to take time off to graduate University and Su needed a mental recharge. It all added up.
I've heard baby metal's music before. I didn’t realize she was in the show. I wonder why they didn't highlight her being from baby metal.
It's likely babymetal's company amuse- they don't tend to allow their content used and they never let the avengers (backup dancers used after yui left; momoko is one of them) speak about babymetal. The avengers were only ever said to be the avengers, fans had to figure out their names; amuse is very caught up in this mystic nonsense they've surrounded babymetal in, especially after yui left. So yeah it's probably amuse being annoying rather than mnet just not mentioning it
