@@maureendavidson4635 Not all Americans say "could care less" when they actually mean "couldn't care less". Americans of a certain age who received a good education don't have this problem, but many, way too many say the opposite of what they mean.
If Brits are free of this irritating error encountered often in daily life, then I envy you because I see it/hear it all the time.
