Thank you for your service. I'm also an introvert, but love to get outdoors, especially as we are now getting cooler weather here in Texas. Enjoy your introversion, but don't cut yourself off from the world.
Did she come after you whistled? Or did you have to go get, and carry April? She still a puppy, they tend to have strange ways when facing different situations. 😅😂🤣😳.
"This is not Massachusetts" love that little jab at good old ma. Glad I moved outta there. Currently looking for culverts down in Georgia because of your videos, adds a new thing to explore while urbexing
Its kinda neat to see places like this in such extreme conditions, something special about it. Guess its because you don't see stuff like that every day. Nice video as always, keep em coming.
It’s so concerning to see how the area is suffering a drought. Severe change in the water levels is worrisome. Different areas of our country are suffering the extremes in weather. I sincerely hope you continue to take care of yourself and Miss April. We love what you share with us, but, we all share the same wish and that is for you to stay safe.
The water levels will come back up eventually- we had many damms and lakes in Texas that where low for over 10 years and when I say low I mean extremely low. It it only took a few years of heavy rains to fill them back up to normal levels. Every place just go through cycles. It’s been going on since the beginning of time
It's a hydro electric dam so they can let water out whenever they have a demand for energy. They do always drop it in the fall so the ice doesn't become a problem tho. It def was a drought 2 years ago but it doesn't really effect the dams cause they control the water levels
That little dog sure gets a good work out. It seems like her little short legs would have to work really hard to keep up with Post. How much you want to bet that about five seconds after they get back home she is out like a light and doesn't wake up till the next morning. Sometimes I get tired just watching him and I can't even imagine trying to keep up with all the hiking he does when he is out exploring. Of course I'm 247 years old so that could have something to do with how exhausted I get watching a young whippersnapper go tromping around the countryside!
at 16:16, this enthusiasm is how Post10 reeled us all in, his excitement and knowledge of culverts, floods, and clogged drains make his videos very satisfying. It's the way he presents his passion, I suppose. And the subject is fascinating. Edited to correct time.
So beautiful. You find the best, most interesting places to explore! If you're ever into it Northern Ontario in Canada has some great places to see and explore
We have had drought her like this. It lasted for over 5 years but we have co me out of it but we still need to be careful. Australia has rainfall problems a lot. Both gorgeous, as usual.
I live about 30 mins from moore about two weeks after you recorded this my brother had the bright idea of driving his jeep of the boat launch on the smaller side of the resivour on the other side of the culvert he got it stuck right away. I came out to rescue him in my truck and sure enough got that stuck. Then a guy in a Toyota Tundra tried to help get us unstuck and he got him self stuck. we ended up using three tow straps chained together two a truck on the dry part and finially got unstuck. The drought was crazy never seen it that low
You know, having watched a bunch of abandoned mine exploration vids it occurs to me that with such a solid echo you can tell that the soil/ground around that pipe is solid and in stable contact with it. Otherwise, like in sections of mines with softer and less stable rock and soil your voice gets muffled in a strange way, it doesn't echo and barely carries. I think you're spot on that that culvert is in good condition, and they check/maintain it 👍
Soo a little fun fact for you because I live in littleton, pattenville was an old farming town back in the day. Which is now Moore dam reservoir, so everything you were talking about was entrances down into the old town!
It was only a few months ago here in Australia that a lot of our dams were real low, some down to 10% capacity. Sad to see, but was also interesting to see the foundations of farm buildings etc that were flooded over when the areas were dammed. Now most of our dams are at capacity and some over-flowing, hopefully the same happens over there soon
This is a GREAT video. I loved seeing the beavers, and when you and April walked thru the second culvert! What an echo! I finally moved to Southern coastal Oregon and so many of the places you go look similar to here :)
Diggin the blue pants bro! Keep up the great vids. Come to Michigan we have plenty of streams n rivers. Plus with having two dams break a few months ago it’s utter chaos.
It's hard to get a sense of the size of these culverts when watching your videos. But when you did that shot of you on top you really can see the size of it.
You say severe drought. I say it looks like another day in Texas. Reservoirs there go through wild fluctuations between flood stage and drought stage where the water level may be 20 ft above normal or 20 ft below normal. It's always fascinating to see the lake beds when they are low.
That is a HUGE culvert. Post10 hall of fame? Really interesting about the wildlife. Never knew muskrats & beavers got along. Know beaver dams benefit all kinds of creatures. Didn't know any others benefited the beavers.
Sometimes I get the feeling that he's documenting the area the way a robber would document a bank before they steal from it, and honestly... I love that thought so much😂
Loving these NH videos, Post! I have never seen it this low. In the dead of winter, it will get low sometimes and it looks cool because the ice hollows out underneath and collapses like a huge sheet of broken glass. Pretty dangerous to run a snowmachine across.
To be fair, I don't think they'll let it run dry. I think the state will probably step in first and make them slow their usage or have no flow periods for parts of the day where they shut down.
I have now watched quite a few of your videos and am enjoying them immensely and learning soooooo much! And after over 20 videos, have never come across any footage that I disagreed with and been upset by... until now... at 13:09, how could you NOT bend down and give her hugs and kisses and tell her what a good girl she is for climbing that... you monster!! Lmao 😝🤣
Next week when I get time I am going to Kayak Through. Thanks For Watching.
Cool. Just be careful while u kayak.
That would be so amazing....
Please record it.
dude your pitty is getting so big. such a cutie!
Yes! Was wondering when you get the kayak back out!
16:15 "Oh! Oh! I see the culvert. That's so exciting."
Never change, dude. Your enthusiasm continues to make these videos a treat.
Seriously. So many youtubers I feel like they're playing up their enthusiasm about things, at least a little bit, but Posty sounds so genuine.
I've became a introvert since getting out the military. So this really made me feel a little better and motivated to go outdoors and explore.
Thank you for your service. I'm also an introvert, but love to get outdoors, especially as we are now getting cooler weather here in Texas. Enjoy your introversion, but don't cut yourself off from the world.
@@brainclerk4431 That was a nasty comment! But I'm an atheist, so your comment is bullshit, too!
@@markg6860 I am a christian and that comment is still bullshit.
Introverts actually thrive in the outdoors, on solo adventures!
Find a few people that you can trust and never give up, your service is greatly appreciated
April need a doggie cam. Her channel would be called ‘Adventures with April’. She must have slept good after all that hiking! Thanks for the video
I love seeing April.
Drought = Hibernating season for post 10.
Nah, perfect time for culvert-crawling!
I feel like I'm now obsessed with looking at culverts when I am out driving.
Same here, never knew there were so many.
Sucks that there’s a drought but hey at least this gives people some time to pick up any trash that would normally be under water
April's little feet splashes echoing in the second culvert were so cute!!!
Did she come after you whistled? Or did you have to go get, and carry April? She still a puppy, they tend to have strange ways when facing different situations. 😅😂🤣😳.
Thank you again for letting us share your days out.
April is so adorable! I love seeing her in your videos!!
Probably the best UA-cam channel I've found this year.
"This is not Massachusetts" love that little jab at good old ma. Glad I moved outta there. Currently looking for culverts down in Georgia because of your videos, adds a new thing to explore while urbexing
Please check sweet April’s paws for bruises or cuts from those long hikes you both take. Such a pretty girl. 🐾🐾 Enjoy your videos. ☺️
Post 10: The Beaver's diet consist almost entirely of Bark.
Also Post 10: Brings his dog with him.
At least he kept a good eye on April!
Glad to see pupper, there! She really does enjoy sharing in your adventures.

Not due to drought. The water levels are always dropped in the fall.

Thank you for doing a great job of narrating what you're doing.
The echo in that second culvert was pretty cool
Thank YOU you made me smile with your playing in the culvert making noise Love it!!!!

Great video. Beautiful area.
That giant Culvert was really cool, I loved that little brooke. All the moss overgrown is gorgeous. Great video Post =)
Would love a return visit to this when it's full again.

ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO.
Good to see you have a little side-kick to keep you company. Those end shots would make good desktop images.
nice video

That echo was amazing, even on my phone.
Yay another post 10 upload, I am SO here for this!
Awesome video Post 10 keep up the hard work. Also love the new 4k video so much detail that i feel like I'm there.

That water is beautiful
You and I had the same thought about the echo. That was cool.
I just drove over I93 thru that area and noticed how low this was, I’ve never seen it this low!
This is a GREAT video. I loved seeing the beavers, and when you and April walked thru the second culvert! What an echo!
I finally moved to Southern coastal Oregon and so many of the places you go look similar to here :)
April is so pretty. So well behaved.
Post it’s good to see you and April on cam. 👍 You guys need rain badly.
I get excited to see a beaver too.
Diggin the blue pants bro! Keep up the great vids. Come to Michigan we have plenty of streams n rivers. Plus with having two dams break a few months ago it’s utter chaos.
Holy crap I hadn't heard about that! 0_0

What a lucky puppy.
America is a beautiful country!!

Big fan of these bold outfit choices. 💛
Holee shit, it's DMSteeley in a Post 10 video.

i went to mass today crossing the Connecticut river. gave you a shoutout over on my facebook. rivers pretty low but it was neat seeing it from CTRAIL.
sounds fun
Nice content post 10 good job
BEST echo EVER !

Great videos bud! Keep them coming!

Dam that was a nice video
Do you have an update on this with the heavy rain you've had recently?
I would think the reservoir will fill up with the winter rain/snow that will fall, and come the end of the "spring showers" will be at full pool.
I worked there on the I-93 highway/causeway through Moore reservoir when it was built
Hello from Boston...love your videos‼️
I have now watched quite a few of your videos and am enjoying them immensely and learning soooooo much! And after over 20 videos, have never come across any footage that I disagreed with and been upset by... until now... at 13:09, how could you NOT bend down and give her hugs and kisses and tell her what a good girl she is for climbing that... you monster!!
