Hello again have a question for you, was your wiring still good for your fuel tank and do you just have one tank not saddle tanks? I have a lot of decisions to make because my 79 K10 has saddle tanks and everything works great they switch back and forth but I know everything is old. I'm thinking do I just change everything on the tanks like the sending units and the actuator that sends the fuel to each tank since I have the bed off already or do I just leave everything alone since it's working. Anyways thanks again for your video just in case I do change everything I know what to do thanks to your video. Thank you again Buddy 👍👍
Hi Anthony. I am super happy the video has helped you! My K10 only had a single fuel tank. I chose to replace the sending unit since it was a new tank and I already had the bed off - easy job too. I just thought it would be better to have it all new under there. Before I put the bed back on I tested the installation to make sure it was all working and reading correctly on the gas gauge, and it was. Check out the other video I did on painting the frame with the bed off. Adds a little time but great to do some surface rust removal and future rust prevention.
@@trucksofamerica7302 Thank you for getting back to me and I did watch the video of you cleaning and preparing for painting the frame I enjoyed that video also. Thank you Again and hope you have great week and great rest of your year ☺️👍👍👍
