Wrapped in parchment and sealed with wax, the only correspondence included with the cassette was a note reading:
Release me.

Could it be, this fabled band is more than just a rumor? Tales of an obscure outfit hailing from Romania have followed us like a phantom - doppelgängers from another place and time whose sound and story are eerily similar to our own...
Who are we to reject their request? We digitized the tape, and here are the results.

One of the better versions of Bloody Tears in existence. Gives me freaking chills.

I discovered this song upon a Synthwave mix video, and i was working while hearing it, so once the mix came to play this song, i got so thrown out by the sheer ear pleasure i just received and decided to look at the madlads who did this, and you guys, are a certified hood classic, godspeed.

Got a few lyrics messed up, but not much. :) This bloodline's sole devotion, not Belmont's soul devotion. And he's found another token, not wrung. Also the shiver of the night arrives the rite that saves their lives. I love this song... STILL. :D Bloody Tears and Wicked Child are my favorite Castlevania music pieces.

i still love this stuff. some of my favorite songs
"i'm not the breakman" was my favorite because it cranks up the intensity and drama to the absolute max level, but i honestly think i listened to it so many times at such an emotionally charged time in my life that it's kinda lost that feeling for me.
"evolution of circuitry" (the original) is a close second because i love that loud ass electric guitar noise and just how much energy is in the way the lyrics are sung. kind of just a straight banger, and it's really fun to sing. the remake sorta loses that energy, i feel.
after that, probably "scent blasters" for going ridiculously hard, then the entire first megas x belmonts album.

This is fantastic. I especially love the use of "Basement Melodies" in the vocal melody. Great stuff.
After a bunch more listens I finally made the connection with the line "And so the shiver of the night arrives." Subtle touches like this just make my day. Simon's Quest/Accursed Seal is my favorite game of all time and this song just captures the spirit of the game so well.

We've always said the worst night to have a curse would be a night where you had planned out a really good night with someone you don't get to see very often, that you enjoy being around, and the curse prevents you from doing so. The best nights to have a curse would be a night where you're in proximity to some kind of curse resolving expert, with nothing better to do than do whatever needs to be done to resolve your curse.

Damn, I didn't know you guys were releasing a second run of the cassette! This is awesome! I just bought mine and I'm hyped as fuck. Also I noticed that this run had the lyrics included in the booklet. Was that there in the original run of the cassettes, too, or is it something you added for this one?
We added that for the second run, the first run instead had a reversible Belmonts/Megas cover.
