I’m from the Bangor area but lived most of my life in Maryland. My parents retired and moved back up to the Levant area last year. These videos motivate and inspire me too get back up too Maine sooner then later. Great videos. Keep me inspired and keep them coming
Hey thanks Eric much appreciated. I can only imagine how you feel. I didn’t grow up in northern Maine, but since I bought my place it’s all I think about. I look forward to every trip up. I’m looking forward to getting back to what ever normal they have planned for us. It will make it easier to bring some good content to the channel that’s for sure. I hope you make it back soon. Alot of people are starting to figure out less is more, the real estate market is hot up north. I just hope they keep northern Maine wild and free and don’t bring there big city ways with them. The whole reason why they are running north is to get away from them ( failed ideas ) again thanks for watching and the support.
I’m around the Houlton area for security reasons I won’t give the actual town I’m in. But Houlton is the closest populated area. Absolutely love it up there in the county, some really great people up there.
Totally understand. My family is in Oakfield. (At least most of them). If you ever run into someone with the last name Hersey tell them their Ohio cousin said Hi. And yes it is gorgeous up there. I use to spend summers between Oakfield and Portland. Talk about ying and yang.
I’ve have a friend that has a place over on Drew’s lake so I know oakfield well nice area for sure. I’ve hunted over there a few times. Not a bad place to spend your summers
We are moving to Maine at the middle of April. We would love a bunch of land but for a ti e we have to stay in RV parks. This will be so different than what we are use to.
Life is a big adventure at least you are fallowing your dreams. A lot of people will leave this earth never chasing there dreams. Life is always better when you live outside your comfort zone. I wish you the best of luck keep me posted when you find your new property.
