There is nothing about this that looks well done. This looks like nostalgia purely for nostalgia's sake. 2: The drug dealing talking baby. Seriously? How many gott-damn American adult animated sitcoms have to have a talking baby? I mean, seriously? That was played out when they tried to do that again for the Cleveland Show. 3: The art and animation. Dear god, this is just painful to look at. How is it that in an age where anime exists, this was the best they could come up with? For chrissakes, Allen Gregory had better art and animation than this, and that show was utter dogshit! 4: "It says concentrate!" Satire is much better than this. It almost looks like the '70s show Fritz the cat. Which wasn't that great either. A good adult reboot of the children or grandchildren of the original Good times family should have some comedy and some drama even if it's animated. On another video I saw somebody called the show Hood times that would have been a good name for this show

If "Velma" can get a Season 2 then this show will probably succeed, sadly enough.
This actually is what *Velma* is accused of being. The Sinatrasong Shitdog show is what put animation in the doghouse for 20 years. Even Disney had to cut its budgets to stay open and remain competitive. This is how we get such low-effort efforts.
*Velma* is more effective at taking those established characters and putting them in what is basically *Dear White People: The Animated Series.*

Ngl, I know this ain't saying much but imo I'm sorta glad I watched another Netflix title called Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp and imo it was way fun to watch than this reboot even tho' I never really heard of the original show of Good Times since mostly the sitcoms I use to watch were Full House,Friends,Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Family Matters, no offense to those who loved the original Good Times show btw lol.
This might just be me but some of the animation does remind me of Bebe’s and no the animation in that movie isn’t “trash”. Some of the backgrounds are kinda cool and I also kind agree with him if you can’t separate reality and satire then we can’t help you 😂
