I must admit that one thing that triggers my anxiety is not feeling in control…I lost my Nan and Dad within a short space of time. Whenever I’m out in nature…looking at the stars at night etc I feel calmer because I’m reminded of how small I am and how big God is…I realise He’s the one who’s really in control 🥰

1) try turning the mirror around to the inside of the door in your office, that way people who stay with you would still have it. 2) you could buy some of those bags that you suck the air out of to store the mattress topper, sheets, pillows, quilt. They definitely save space and make storing easier.

Hi Michel! I’m just sitting here listen to your chat about anxiety and all of the “maybe it’s this” “maybe it’s that” stuff you were saying made me think that you intuitively already know! I have worked with a few somatic practitioners who have told me that the body knows before the mind does. To me, it sounds like your body is responding to quite a few things-and that you have a good hunch about what those things are! Good for you for (and Jordy for suggesting) taking a mindful moment and slowing down. There’s so much science that shows the positive impact being in nature has on our wellness.

Sorry for your loss. It’s most definitely a contributing factor to your anxiety. And for your pullout bed pad and comforter, use vacuum seal bags, they help clear up a lot of space.
Try a laundry hamper for the mattress foam. Roll and put in the hamper!😊

Your body can’t always differentiate between good stress and bad stress. Exercise has been the best way to expend anxiety for me. What we resist persists. So just acknowledging that we are feeling it goes along ways. Congratulations to you and Jordy wishing you a lifetime of blessings and happiness!

Vacuum storage bags are AMAZING for storing extra bedding.
If I were you I would open up that panel under the steps going upstairs for storage. I have done this at my sons a few years back and now made it into my granddaughters lovely play place. She loves it ❤

Suggestion - it’s the one gift I gave myself, and it was a time capsule. There are a few types to choose from now, but you fill it with everything you do the first year of your marriage( such as movies you go to, ticket stubs of comedy shows, vacation trinkets or special photos and a letter to each other then you seal it and choose how many years in the future you’re going to open it. We did 25th anniversary. It was the best thing I ever did, and now this is the gift I give all new couples and they love it. Best wishes💜

Now that you have the tree in the corner of the office and it takes up quite a bit of vertical space I think you can center something above the couch and it won’t look off.

I kept the foam topper on my couch. I would buy small trunk to keep in front of the couch to store pillows, blankets etc.in. Your house is so pretty. I loved the last video of house tour.
Do not store medications in a hot or damp place like bathroom or near stove. Breakdowns effectiveness of meds sooner. Store dry cool place.

Yes to the AT&T credit card question. Definitely a real thing, but they typically have expiration dates, so move that money over to your account before you forget about it.

Have you ever used a space bag? You can put all your linens in it and use a vacuum to suck the air out. It’s a great way to store big bulky stuff.

You could try using vacuum bags for the extra bedding and mattress pad. They work great and create more space availability. They also come in large to small sizes.

For the large mattress protector in your office, why don’t you just keep it on your hide a bed? That ways it’s all folded within. No need to store it then, and it’s all ready if you get a visitor 😀

For your pantry- baskets for the top cabinets so you don’t have to climb up there. Decant the things in the lower cabinets into bins so it’s all fits nice and neat and stays fresh.

I have the same kind of set up in my guest room and we have an extra large vacuum seal bag for our mattress pad.

Have you considered using bungee to wrap up your mattress pad tightly? I borrow my husband's for bedding a lot. Have a lovely wedding and wonderful hangs with your family and friends!
You could always try to put the mattress topper on the bed and then fold it up into the sofa? It might be too bulky but we've done that with ours in the past!
Regarding the comment you made about your “usual watchers” not being as interested in your travel vlogs: I’m one of the regulars🥰 for me, Michel travel vlogs are a special type of situation- there’s a certain mood I will get where I go back to watch your travel vlogs, and love them so much, but it just has to be one of those special moment 🤷🏽♀️

I put my extra guest bedding in a vacuum bag. It stores easier. I think the topper can be put in a vacuum bag each time too.
