I just bought this car with 80k from California for $10k only 2 owners !!!! Drives like a dream !! I took it to BMW of Cleveland and they said they have never seen one in the condition mine is in !!! I am beyond blessed to have gotten such a steal!!
These 7-series BMW were well ahead of the times when they first came out. I always enjoyed driving them. You could say the 02-08 BMW 7-series were the last great generation from BMW. Unfortunately the consequent models were ruined both from an aesthetic point of view, but also reliability.

You got the last year of the best BMW 7-series of late. BMW ruined this car starting in 2009 with those twin turbo V8 engines. Every mechanic I know tell me to run away from it. I've had the '12 550i Gran Turismo with the same engine, and something just doesn't sound/feel right.
@@ValEuroSport I loved them but if you option it with the v8 you will need to maintain it much more.
I just got 07-750li titanium gray car has all options only no night vision camera,the car was abandoned,I pay $1900.+DMV registration $1200, millage 86k so I didn't know this car price is $97000 😄 hahaha i pay $3100.but enjoy for $ 100000 car

That's the thing about these BMWs. They are awesome cars. Fun to drive, latest technology and feel like a million bucks. Unfortunately their resale value drops like a rock. It would have been a different story if they were "Honda" reliable.....

@@ValEuroSport Am dat de acest clip căutând detalii despre e65, eu și un prieten suntem studenți și pasionați de mașini, in special de marca BMW, având atât de multe detalii și tehnologii de descoperit la orice model. Acum fiind ajunși la e65, și fiind obișnuit să vad clipuri cu acest model numai din străinătate, am rămas plăcut surprins sa vad că este român cel ce o prezenta😁. Sănătate și numai bine!
Trying to buy one of these as my first car but want all of the options!!!!! The money isn’t the concern. But I need the Black metallic sapphire with the natural Nassca leather interior with all of the works down to every last option just can’t find one anywhere for sale in the world rn!!!!! 😢😩 my biggest question is that I’ve found 2 that are dammed close but they didn’t have the same rear center console??? 🤨 as I said the cars I’ve been looking at are very clearly fully loaded as you can see the rear shades and tv and such but not the same rear center console!!!!! Not sure if it’s a very specific year thing for that or what but I would absolutely love and appreciate the feedback! I know this is an old video and I’m a little late to the party but it’s worth shot…!!! 😆 btw I must say what an immaculate stunning job on the overview and photography!!!!! 💯% well done in my books!!!!! 👍 Thank You!!!!!

I’m looking to purchase a 2007 or 2008 in Cali and man. I found one I liked but the owner was tryna scam. It produces white smoke from the tailpipes/exhaust pipes. The radio and rear entertainment doesn’t work and the screen on the passenger side doesn’t operate correctly. He is asking 7.9. as it. Says it has 85K. The white smoke alone is 5-8K to repair. If not more. Depending on how many leaks and seals need repair.
I just pay 3 k 2006 94kmiles looks almost new. Runs excellent.
You should have many years of trouble free use of your 745li.

Most people would avoid the V12 engine and opt for the B8 instead. Seeing a check engine light in a car with a V12 engine is not a reassuring experience to say the least. That's why a 750li fully loaded (and I mean FULLY), is very popular and it commands much more $ than a more pedestrian 750.

If you want reliability, Honda is the clear winner on all counts. In fact, nothing beats a Honda in terms of dependability. If you want flash, you buy a BMW to give you that nice feel of "having made it". Maybe you should buy both? Honda for commuting to work, and the BMW for that weekend drive....

They do have that reputation...
this year model Still have valve stem seals issues, leaky gaskets, and weird electronic gremlins, stay away..!

This model year up to and including 2008, is much, much better than the one coming after it with the twin turbo V8 engine. Lots of issues with oil leaks. Any knowledgeable mechanic will tell you this was the last great V8 engine BMW offered before they ruined it.

...and it’s definitely the opposite with the years... it’s the 01-08 (Fourth Gen) that have the terrible motors and iDrive systems

You will find it useful though. Even the night vision is really cool at night, when you see deer on the side of the road, about to jump in front of you.
