- On March 16th, 2024, Florida officers encountered a dangerous situation involving a silver vehicle. The driver's erratic behavior, including swerving off the road and making obscene gestures, escalated the situation. Despite attempts to approach her, the driver displayed severe intoxication and aggression, complicating law enforcement's efforts to safely handle the situation. Even after being arrested, she continued to resist, hindering the process and posing risks to everyone involved. The arrival of her boyfriend added another layer to the investigation, but his lack of cooperation further complicated matters. Despite their denials, both were taken into custody, facing charges including speeding, battery on an officer, and resisting arrest. I'm 67 years old when I get stopped at a DUI checkpoint all they do is look in your eyes and take your breath they asked me once if there's any physical condition that would stop me from doing the test and I laughed and I said yeah but a dozen of them I have eye problems I have ear problems which affect my balance and I can't walk in a straight line foot in front of the other foot at my age all I do is Shuffle from side to side that's what old people do and if they want me to put my head back and close my eyes I'll pass out I'll get vertigo I passed out three times in the last 6 months and my doctor says you won't even do that test on me until I get an EKG and a cardiologist approval because they were supposed to do a procedure on me and they wouldn't do it because of that because of your age so I know that all you have to do is do the breathalyzer when you go into the police station or give blood that's it even on the road all you have to do is give a breathalyzer you don't have to do all that test I don't know why they make you do that because it doesn't tell them anything doing the breathalyzer will tell them if you're drunk right on the spot

What is it with this generation and their aversion to handcuffs? They’re always too tight, or they need to be adjusted, or they want them in the front, or they want them taken off altogether. This cop is “WAY OUT OF LINE”.!!! I'm on the womans side here. The arresting officer truly "overreacted" to this whole ordeal. He’s an immature ‘punk rookie’ who likes using his authority for any little thing. The woman seemed very cooperative. And YES the handcuffs were way too tight. And ……. the police could’ve [not] towed her car and been more compassionate. This woman is totally in the RIGHT and I hope she receives some kind of compensation. The field sobriety test should have been performed “in the field”. She offered MANY TIMES to blow a breath test. This cop needs to lose his job.!! Also, her boyfriend WTF. They were looking for any reason to arrest him too. WTF??
